“Peaceful little place with easy access to Dubrovnik.”

Clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation. Beautifully maintained, cosy back garden, and stunning views from the balcony. The owners were so friendly, attentive and helpful. We had dinner at the property one night - it was beautifully served in the garden, and the delicious, home cooked food was the best meal we had during our stay in Croatia.

Maro was such an excellent host making breakfast for me whatever time I requested it . It was beautifully presented and there was such a choice - he made an omelette each morning , with a selection of cheeses , ham and tomatoes and jam. There was a sweeter choice of waffles as well. This was all laid out in the garden. He also prepared an evening meal which was extra , freshly prepared and with drinks also in the garden. Nothing was too much effort, taking my suitcase up to the apartment as there were quite a few steps.i had the 2 bed apartment at the front and was treated to lovely sunsets .

We were picked up from the airport by the host. The journey was only 10 mins away so our holiday started straight away. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The apartment was really clean and had a beautiful view. The beds were comfy and everything was perfect. We ordered breakfast which was delicious. I would definitely return. We were driven back to the airport. Nothing was too much trouble.

The family was wery helpful and the view of the city was wonderful. They also offered a transfer to airport at a good price.

Everything! The apartment was so spacious and tastefully decorated.The views are out of this world! It’s very close to the main town. It was just perfect in every way and the meal that was cooked for us by the lovely family that owned place was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. Our 3 kids really enjoyed it there too. Wish I was there longer than one night though

“Wonderful & welcoming stay in Cavtat”

The hosts are most welcoming, so nice! And of course the location, only a 15” stroll to downtown Cavtat. A charming village by the sea. Breakfast is exquisite. Dinner is also possible, they run a small garden restaurant, lovely!

Maro and family has been very accommodating. They are approachable and genuinely nice. We only booked for a night but we had an amazing time with them. Beautiful apartment with amazing views and Maro and Nicole went out of their way to help in any way they could. They offer lifts to and from the airport and took us to a supermarket so that we could stock up rather than have to walk up the hill with our shopping. We also eat here and had the 3 course meat under the bell menu which is a must, it was so tasty. The gardens and pool area are lovely and so peaceful. The walk back up the hill to the apartment was a challenge but its worth it for the views. We would love to return one day.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Maro and his family, who couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was spotless, modern and has everything we needed for our holiday. The views are amazing. It was a short 10/15 minute walk into town down hill, so yes, it is uphill on the way home, but to get the stunning views, it is worth it, plus there are taxi's and uber available if you don't fancy the walk home. We ate twice at their lovely in house restaurant, Rosehip Konoba, where Maro's family cook for you, the food was superb, as good as any you will find in Cavtat, it was just a lovely experience and stay all round. We will definitely be booking again next time we visit Cavtat.

If you decide to make Cavtat your holiday destination, you must check out the Marojica Apartments proudly offered by Maro, Nicole and family. This is also their family home and I promise you will be made to feel like you are ‘at home’. We were a group of 3 staying in the beautiful large 2 bedroom apartment. It was the perfect place to spend the second and more chilled week of our holiday after a full on first week in Dubrovnik, Kotor and Mostar. What lovely people who have worked so, so hard to achieve the perfect balance of accommodating guests in their very tasteful, modern, clean, spacious and comfortable apartments; while also offering an optional authentic, local and traditional taste of Cavtat and the wider Konavle area in their beautiful converted stone ‘bothy’ in their lovely garden. The Konoba Rosehip is a special place where guests can enjoy and watch the family cooking and serving the meals. It comfortably holds maybe around 8 people. Perfect for a relaxing, intimate and much more personalised eating experience than a larger restaurant. At all times Maro and Nicole were attentive, professional yet also so warm, welcoming and friendly. Nothing ever seemed a bother. A highlight of our week in Cavtat was eating in the konoba with Maro’s father Mladin cooking in front of us ‘under the bell’( what a treat, we thought we would have to travel out of Cavtat to find a restaurant cooking traditional peka recipes ) or on a grill over the fire. Maro’s enthusiasm and passion for working hard to keep the local traditions alive by sharing his local knowledge and creating simple authentic delicious meals was infectious and should be admired and applauded. Hearing about the traditional ways of cooking and having Maro and Nicole joining us at the table when we asked them too was special. They made us feel so welcomed, just like family.

We had a couple of nice days staying at Marojica Apartments. The host and his family were very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast that you can choose to have and one night we ate some delicious food at their restaurant. The apartment was modern, fresh and had a stunning view over the ocean. Hope to go back som day!

The very friendly welcome from Marco and his family, who all went out of their way to make sure our stay was really enjoyable. They were extremely kind, inviting us to use the pool after check out whilst we waited for our flight, which was very much appreciated 🙏. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and the two bed apartment very spacious. We were also very grateful for the swimming towels which were provided. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night, however, we certainly intend on returning for longer, when we’d love to try the evening meal. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, which I would definitely recommend in the lovely surroundings of the quiet garden.

What a find! Maro and his family are warm and friendly hosts, and our deluxe apartment was modern and beautifully decorated with incredible sea views from the balcony. We had a wonderful homecooked meal on the last night of our holiday which was the icing on the cake. Thanks again Maro, we hope to see you again one day...
