“Exceptional hospitality and experience”
Podere La Fornace is a very special place for us, that is why we decided to stay here the second time after seven years. It was always in our mind to come back as we could not forget Natale (the owner) and our amazing vacation there. Natale is such a welcoming and warm hearted person, we never forgot his kind and sincere attitude and his amazing food that is made with the fresh Tuscany farmhouse products. He immediately recognized us and gave us a very warm welcome with the second owner Viola. We felt like coming back home and we even stayed at the exact place that we stayed before which is a very lovely apartment furnished with beautiful traditional Tuscany taste. It was very clean and we had everything we needed there. Natale, Viola and Viola’s family offered us exceptional dinners prepared with their home products such as red wine, olive oil, meat and all the other fresh ingredients. It was something we will never forget for our whole life, and it was an honour for us that we were invited to their family tables to eat. Viola and her mom prepares amazing Italian meals, if you stay there it is a must try in my opinion. And we were lucky to drink Natale’s amazingly tasty red wine from their vineyards and homemade limoncello, and it was such a pleasure for us to spend time with him the second time. Viola produces very tasty and high quality olive oil as well, and you can buy all those products. I really hope we can visit them the third time and I am sure my husband and I will be talking all the time about coming back to this amazing farmhouse to see Natale, Viola and her family. We cannot thank enough for all their effort and hospitality to provide this perfect holiday, this experience was from another world for us.

This is exactly what I was looking for – a secluded location in the heart of Tuscany, perched on a hill surrounded by lush vegetation and charming, traditional buildings. The owner is incredibly friendly, and as the saying goes, “a place is made by the people who run it.” This is not a five-star hotel, but a small, cozy gem that is absolutely worth every penny.

“Calm place and close to every places to see in Toscana”
Old building but clean. Far away from civilization good for resting. Pool is very nice. Owner friendly but speaking only Italian. But easy to manage basic communication.
