“Great location, friendly staff,”
The room was very clean and cozy but small. Mattress on the bed probably needs replacing as it dips in the middle. I suggest an additional blanket available as temperatures plummeted during our May visit. Staff were very friendly. Check in was easy. Hot breakfast with additional items available every morning beginning at 8 am. The location is a great jump of point for day trips especially the coast, heritage lighthouses, and other local interesting sites

“Cavendish Overnight Stay”
Loved the location and the old building charm. The room was had Inn#20 was in the main building, but it was huge. Very comfy bed, and I loved the jacuzzi in the room with a separate bathroom with another tub and shower. Comfortable furniture to sit on, a bit dated but added to the charm. The porch swing was cute.

The continental breakfast met our expectations. The property is very close to the main attraction of Cavendish, home to the Anne of Green Gables Museum and Cavendish Beach.

Emily at Shining Waters Inc. was absolutely wonderful — super welcoming and easy to talk to. Honestly, I could’ve chatted with her for hours! (If you're reading this, thank you again — you truly a game changer!) The location is perfect — just steps away from the beach, scenic trails, and food stores. The room was very clean, and the bed was really comfortable, which I appreciated after a long day. Although the room didn’t have a fridge or microwave, everything I needed was available 24/7 in the common area. I mentioned to Emily that I’d be leaving early, and she thoughtfully prepared a breakfast pack in a cooler — such a kind gesture. Would I recommend it? Definitely yes!

It's a quaint little area that's close to Green Gables Heritage Place and Cavendish Beach. It's a collection of cottages perfect for families. The cottage had a full kitchen, bathroom, living room with sleeper sofa, and a bedroom. Also had a propane BBQ out front. We were upgraded to a cottage due to a plumbing issue in the original booking.

“Great location”
Beautiful charming building and excellent location, the room was big and comfortable. Lovely public areas and made to feel very homely.
