Excellent location, only 8 mins drive from Cavendish. The rooms and bathroom were very clean.

Great stay. clean cozy cottage. Very quiet place. Near everything in Cavendish and North Rustico. Friendly manager. Would recommend, hope to return next year.

“Very comfortable stay, very clean, very quiet, friendly staff”

I really like the quietness of the property, super quiet by 10pm and that they don't allow people to smoke cannabis on the property - I hate the smell and find it offensive. The cottage was super clean, housekeeping do a great job. We had a very nice cottage, very spacious, kept up to date. The cottage was much nicer in real than the pictures online show. They need to get a profession photographer in to take good pictures cause it can show so much better than the pictures they have here. the cottage had A/C, Wifi and a dishwasher which was great (no dishes to do by hand). We had our deck (good size) with BBQ and Patio Table/chairs and we could see our children in the playground from the deck. They have a nice playground for the kids and a heated pool They have a policy to follow which is just common sense things, nothing to be put off about like the previous review. Not sure why she found it to be such a problem or off putting. I didn't see anything wrong with it. No smoking inside or you'll pay a $500 fee and same with bringing pets into the cottage. Quiet time is 10pm and children are not to be outside roaming around the property or in the playground after 10pm during quiet time. Seriously what is wrong with that? I just don't get the issue the previous review made. Normally I don't leave reviews for things/places etc, but after the nasty review left on here I felt I should write my own review. I would recommend these cottages and will stay again. I found both the housekeeping staff and the manager very nice and friendly. In fact, the manager goes over the policy with you when you check in. I had no issue with the way they have explained the sorting of the garbage/compost/recyclables - it was clearly stated. Again I don't know what the issue was with the previous review (maybe she was having a bad day or something) but I think it was a very unfair review to write about this property.

Really enjoyed our stay at Mayfield Country Cottages. Cottage looked fairly new with new flooring, furniture etc. The cottage is nicely spaced out with a great living area. We had a dishwasher in the kitchen, Air Condition and Wifi. I must say our cottage was super clean, quite impressed with how clean it was. The location is great just 5-7 mins to the Cavendish attractions. There are 4 golf courses nearby within 10 mins. I would highly recommend a stay at this location if you want a super clean cottage to stay in and a very quiet place to stay at night. No noise at all by 10pm, which I liked. Host was great and super friendly.

It was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly inspite of having to work extra. Real dishes.

“Excellent family vacation!”

I highly recommend these cottages! Mayfield is easy to get to from Confederation Bridge, and it is close to all the attractions in that part of PEI. It was easy to go back and forth from the theme parks to our cottage. Beautiful PEI sunset to view from Cavendish Provincial Park in the evening, 7-8 minute drive away. You can bring your own food to cook at the cottage as there is a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishes and utensils. I would recommend this as I found it hard to find a place to eat in Cavendish. Very clean and tidy cottage with air conditioning, excellent host.

All our needs were met. The cottage was well appointed and well located. It was quiet and the neighbours were friendly and neat. The space was well allocated- good sized living area and good sized bedrooms. Good water pressure and clean.
