“A real away-from-it-all haven”
The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. Everything and more was provided at the accommodation. It has a homely "real" feel, not a sterile depersonalised rental.

“The most wonderful place”
I went to Le Martinet with two friends and we absolutely fell in love with the house, the sorroudings and our hosts. The house is an old mill that has been renovated very tastefully. It is unique, charming, comfortable, beautiful and fully equipped. It is surrounded by forests, a stream, small lakes, a river and a stunning garden full of lovely flowers. The whole plot of land is full of little nooks where to have coffee or read a book. Finally, Heather and Don are the most lovely and welcoming people. Heather cooked a curry (vegan too, knowing that one of us was a vegan!!) for us to have after our long drive to France and she spoilt us rotten, including cake and balloons for our friend who was having her birthday during our stay. They are interesting and lovely people who are happy to give a hand when needed with tips and any other thing one might need. We could not have chosen a better place. We are in love with Le Martinet and we will be back!
