For the amount of money and for the location this property was just as we expected if not a little better. We came at a carnival time and the Saturday night was very very very loud with lots of music not the hosts fault. I would definitely come here again, area is Full of Beautiful vistas. Today in February 2025, everything here seems Like a new venture.

The place is really quaint and quirky. The rooms are clean and comfortable, some with a hot shower, private bathroom and others are shared facilities. The owners are wonderful people and make you feel super welcome. The lodge is very close to all of the heritage hikes.

“Lovely camping in Catimbau”
Gê is a very nice person and received us in such a lovely mood! My husband and I stayed in the chalet and it was clean and rustic. It had everything we needed. The kitchen is super well equipped with fridge, oven, stove, coffee machine, toaster, and things to cook. The toilet and showers were clean and nice during our time there. I can see that they are working on improving the camping area, so it will just become better in the future! There is also a lovely view to a nearby rock (pedra do cachorro). There is also a place to do a fire in cold nights. Lovely!
