The location is perfect, right in the centre of Catania with lots of interesting sights within walking distance. The room was very comfortable with air con and a balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet, which allowed for a restful sleep. Communication with the host was all very clear and smooth. No issues at all at check in or check out. Would highly recommend.

Localization was perfect, two minutes from the Duomo, restaurants and bars were right before the building, but there was no noises in the room. Very nice and friendly host, rooms are clean, furniture is new and comfortable, bathrooms are very nice. Self check-in was very convenient and everything was opened with codes, so there was no worry with losing the key.

Great location in the city center, on walking distance to the attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful - we communicate easily and the responses were quick. We have all equipment needed for a long weekend stay.

It’s cleaned, location is perfect, close to all attractions with a few minutes by walking. From the bus station or train station to Ruanera, it takes about 20-25 mins by walking. There are grocery shops around, restaurants etc. The host is very nice and friendly, always reachable.

The property is in a very Central location. The accommodation is very clean and spacious. There is a communal kitchen with all the necessary appliances. There is heating/air con. My room had a lovely balcony, where I could seat to read a book or eat out there. Host allowed me to leave my luggage at the property after check out as flight was in the afternoon. There is a left at the property.

I liked everything, it was clean, nice room, the location was centre and the service was beautiful.

This was one of my favourite stays. Nestled into the heart of the historic area of Catania, a mere walk away from everything, and yet quiet with a balcony in the sun. A truly beautiful apartment.

The apartment is beautiful , very modern and new, with all you need ; it has also a big and very nice kitchen very well equiped. The location is right in the center close to the Duomo, shopping street , market and other places of interest. The host , Federico is very kind and helpful to us , he gave us all information and directions we asked ; he was even more kind to arrange the transfer to the airport for us at a very decent price . We will come back and stay only at Ruanera .

“All I needed in Catania”

Ruanera was an excellent choice as a solo traveler. It is right at the center of Catania which makes everything easily accessible by foot, including the bus station that takes you to the airport and the beach. Federico kindly received me and explained everything about the accommodation. The Sicilian Cafe next to the building is delicious, so check it out. Recommendation for future guests: If your flight is delayed or you will arrive later than expected, inform the accommodation so that you don’t keep them waiting. Federico was very kind and reached out to make sure I didn’t have issues finding the accommodation. I would stay here again.

The location was absolutely perfect. Federico couldn't do enough to help. The room was beautifully appointed, everything has been thought of, great lighting, mirrors, shower, bed, etc... and the balcony was lovely of an evening. The kitchen was well thought through. I will gladly stay here each time I visit Catania.
