Checked in at 2am with zero hassle — huge thanks to Anya, the night receptionist, for making such a late arrival feel completely effortless and welcoming. The building itself is a character in its own right: soaring ceilings with painted frescoes, original parquet floors, and balconies that instantly transport you back to the early 1900s. It's the kind of place where the architecture alone makes you slow down and just look around for a minute. The mattress was genuinely comfortable (always a relief after a long travel day), and the kitchen is well-equipped — properly stocked, not just a token setup. Found some free pasta in the kitchen too, which was a really nice touch. The common areas are spacious and comfortable, easy to relax in whether you want company or some quiet time. And then there's the soundtrack: falling asleep to live Italian musicians singing melodically right under the balcony — honestly better than any bedtime story. Pure Catania magic. Everything was spotless, and the whole place just has this warm, easy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I like the whole hostel , the location, welcome from staff, balcony can go to the public amazing views and my room too, we all 4 lived in the big room and can watch and enjoying concert at our balcony. the rooftop, and free pasta.

I liked the social part of the hostel very much! It was easy to get into talking to people in a relaxed environment. The general area is great, the staff very helpful, and the roof top bar with view onto Etna is great.

Perfect location right on Via Etnea, just steps from Piazza del Duomo and everything in the historic center. The rooftop bar with the view of Etna is unmatched. The staff went above and beyond, special thanks for accommodating my 2 AM arrival with night reception. Comfortable, great atmosphere throughout. Space to work. Breakfast was a nice touch to start the day.

Good location if you want to be IN the city and if you like noise and socialising. Staff was always available and helpful. Free pasta. Lots of free stuff (food and hygienic) from other travelers.

“Perfect location for a short stay”

The people who run the hostel are amazing! Super friendly and helpful!! The breakfast is tasty, freshly made like the pasta in the evening too. The location is very good! Like right in the middle, very central. The roof terrace with the view on Etna is stunning. The interior is a cosy mix. During my stay the average age of the guests was around 28 - 45 years. Some older.

The location is amazing, and they also have a great rooftop. Free breakfast and pasta dinner comes included with the price. The rooms are also quite spacious for a hostel, and with a view as well. And this is despite the price being very affordable. I was very pleased, and would definitely stay here again.

The location in the very center is excellent. There are shared relaxation or work rooms next to the reception with balconies open to the historical street. Hostel staff is very nice :-)
