Overview
The 4-star Grand Hotel Baia Verde is set on volcanic rocks overlooking a natural bay, on the road between Acicastello and Catania. It offers an outdoor pool and a free gym. Baia Verde is surrounded by a garden with palm and pine trees and a semi-Olympic pool. It has a sun terrace built into the rocks, which features a staircase leading down to the sea. All rooms at Baia Verde come with elegant Italian furniture, a 32-inch HD LED TV with Sky channels, and a minibar. Many rooms also have a view of the Ionian Sea. The Oleandro Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and traditional Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes at dinner. It has a wide selection of local wines and a sea-view terrace. The outdoor bar offers traditional Sicilian ice cream, snacks and drinks. The beauty centre is available for a variety of treatments and a free fitness centre is available for all guests.

“Beautiful hotel with great pool and sea entrance”
Such a gorgeous hotel . The pool was beautiful and so well looked after and very clean . The bonus for us was the steps down to the crystal water below the hotel . We swam there every day . We really enjoyed our 5 days here. A great start to our visit to Sicily .

“When Can I Move In?”
I would like to move in and live here forever, the hotel is beautiful, the lounge and bar beautiful, room was beautiful, staff fantastic, pool great, sunbathing locations dotted into the cliff perfect. I've never gone to a hotel before and not wanted to go explore the town, just stay there, so that's a new feeling!

“Charm and elegance”
Beautiful, stylish hotel. The array of food at breakfast was amazing, the covered breakfast area was very nice although we never got the chance to be sat at the best tables near the edge of the balcony overlooking the bay...It got very busy on our 2nd morning. Location is great, facilities like pool and access to the sea were fabulous. It was great to be able to park the car onsite .

Great view. Large free parking. Helpful staff. Quiet room. We liked the 80ies vibes. Great for excursions in the surroundings of Catania by car, as it is outside town. We clearly recommend this hôtel.

The view and swimming pool were wonderful. We had a sea and pool view from our room. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a lovely view, shame the food didn't match. The bar area was a lovely space with comfortable sofas. There was also balcony seating with sea view.

“Do your research and understand what is on offer at the hotel before you go. The pool does not open until 1st May at ear”
Despite hotel looking a bit tired and not fully open, the rooms were immaculate and cleaned promptly every day. Evening bar staff were brilliant and reception staff very helpful.
