The accommodation was in a perfect location, so central and convenient. Good communication with the host. Breakfast and water left on arrival was a nice welcome. Spacious room and good TV.

The location of the apartment is more than perfect! The main street is 1min of walking, all the good restaurants are very close, Giuseppe was an amazing host, I would definitely recommend!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is perfect, making everything easily accessible. Communication with the host was instant and very helpful throughout our stay. The place felt comfortable and truly homely, with everything we needed readily available. Check-in was smooth and easy, even without a personal meeting. As a lovely surprise, there was even a breakfast prepared for us, despite it not being included in the price. Highly recommended!

Everything was great. The host Giuseppe was kind and helpful, even let us check in earlier and helped with the luggages. The room was clean and there was everything you would need for a stay. The accommodation is also located in the centre of Catania, so all the tourist attractions are in the immediate vicinity.

Very central location and a very comfortable, well equipped apartment. I liked that beer and wine was available in the apartment (at a reasonable price). Bathroom very modern with a lovely shower. Breakfast was also provided which was a nice touch. Host was very helpful. Public car park less than 10 mins away (€6 per day).

We had an amazing stay at GL Golden City Apartments during our trip to Catania and honestly couldn’t fault it. The location is superb — just minutes’ walk from all the main attractions, restaurants, and bars, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot. The host was exceptional: extremely responsive and communicative via WhatsApp, answering every question quickly and clearly, with excellent English. Check-in was completely seamless, and they kindly allowed us an early check-in, which made our arrival stress-free. The host was genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, clearly cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot, and the apartment had all the amenities you could possibly need. Despite being so centrally located, we didn’t find it noisy at all, which was a huge bonus. For the price, this place is outstanding value. If you’re staying in Catania and want comfort, convenience, and a host who truly cares, this is undoubtedly the apartment to book. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

I highly recommend this accommodation, especially because of the owner, who is very helpful. Whatever you ask, he responds immediately and provides an answer. The accommodation is very comfortable; we had a room with a whirlpool bath. The müsli machine is a great idea. 🙂 The kitchenette is well equipped. The customer service is outstanding, and once again, thank you for finding and returning the lost earring. The location is in the city center, yet we slept very well.

The location of the accommodation is excellent. The fish market, main square, and cathedral are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Large supermarkets such as Lidl, Maxistore, and Eurospin are 7-8 minutes away and stay open late, which was convenient. The host was very kind and helped us with transportation information for trips to Siracusa and Taormina. The room is clean and spacious.

this was the first place I stayed in Sicilia and it is very crucial when you are at the new place and someone is eager to answer your questions as host Giuseppe did. Additionally he'd do everything to make your stay pleasant. He is very dedicated to his job and that should be appreciated and valued. All places, services, information we got we need. I'd say that above was the most important to me so that we could organize our time efficiently, also he was very good in communication so that we know what to do at the next step - prepare document, prepare payment etc. Other than that location, apartment, kitchen (coffee, olive oil there) were just what one would like so no need to mention various details. Would definitely stay again there for sure.
