Overview
Boasting free Wi-Fi throughout, Catania International Airport Hotel is set 1 km from the beach. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is a 15-minute walk away. All air conditioned, the rooms feature a 42" LCD TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. Breakfast is sweet and savoury and includes cereal, fresh fruit, cold cuts and coffee. The restaurant specialises in Italian and international dishes, and serves gala dinners for special events. A free self-service breakfast corner is also available for early departures, between 05:00 and 07:00, and it includes a selection of sweet products with tea, coffee, water and hot chocolate. A bus to/from the city centre stops a few steps from the hotel, while the unique town of Taormina can be reached in 45 minutes by car. On request, a scheduled shuttle bus is available to and from Catania Airport. Public parking is free outside the property.

“A nice airport hotel!”
An airport hotel is always an airport hotel — but this is definitely one of the better ones. Of course, the location is excellent, right by the airport, which makes everything very convenient. What really made the stay stand out, though, was the incredibly warm and friendly reception from everyone working at the hotel. The staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful, which made all the difference. Overall, a really great experience.

“Its good, but unpolished. Convenient for a quick overnight before or after the airport.”
Convenient for the airport using the shuttle bus. The hotel is basic for a 4 star property, but the rooms are large and clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff are helpful and polite. WiFi is good.

“Clean and comfortable”
We stayed for one night at the end of our rail trip to Sicily before flying back to the UK. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly at check in and check out. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The shuttle bus to the airport has to be booked at recepetion the day beofre. This worked well for us- it arrived on time and we were at the airport in good time for our flight. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There is a bus stop just across the road to get the bus into Catania.
