Situated in the centre of Catania, Bed-da Catania Rooms is a recently renovated accommodation, which features allergy-free rooms. It is set 800 metres from Catania Piazza Duomo and offers a lift. The bed and breakfast has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. “Avoid - stay elsewhere for better hospitality. By far the worse B&B we stayed in during the week.”
My wife and I were driving around Sicily spending one night per B&B/Hotel and Catania was our third night's stay. We arrived earlier than expected and tried to contact the owner via WhatsApp without success, so we hung around Catania for a while. Parking was definitely an issue and I asked the owner who was not helpful. A local informed me that as it was (Easter) Bank Holiday, parking on the street (in the blue squares) was free. Would have been nice if the owner said this to me and save much stress. We didnt meet the owner of this B&B. I did receive a message saying that the cafe was closed (due to the bank holiday!) and that breakfast would be left in the common area. This area stank of sewer smell badly, and the 'breakfast' was a joke. To make matters worse the hot water dribbled from the shower so I couldnt enjoy a shower. Room was OK not brilliant not bad. Owner was a ghost. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend.

“CLOSE TO EVERYTHING, IGNORE FIRST IMPRESSIONS”
LOVELY MEET AND GREET. ROOM WAS CLEAN. IT IS ON THE 7TH FLOOR OF THE BUILDING AND THE INITIAL FEELING IS IT IS A BIT DODGY, BUT ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF THE KEYS ETC IT IS FINE.

“Comfortable room at a central location”
Large and comfortable room with a central location very close to main attractions. Coffee machine, and mini fridge was available both in the room and in the hall. The owner was super helpful and friendly.

Great location and great check-in experience. Person explained everything and gave some tips regarding parking. Quite flexible with the check-in timing, very convenient conversation. Room is equipped with conditioner so you can set your temperature yourself. Just a note that breakfast is not served at the hotel premises, but on the corner coffee bar (you will be issued a breakfast coupon).
