“A lovely stay with incredible views”

This is a lovely place to stay right next to the river. The room was large, with good air conditioning and a very good hot shower. There's several cabanas overlooking the river which is so relaxing. We woke up for sunrise every day to hear the jungle waking up. We spotted loads of Kingfishers from here too which was lovely. The location is just a short 10-15 minute walk from the boat to the National Park which was ideal. The road is really quiet and has a nice vibe. We ate here for lunch and dinner on our first day and the food was okay but nothing special. They had lots of vegetarian options which was good and portions were huge. Breakfast was really good. We had pancakes with banana, honey, and tea and they kept us full all day. Overall, a lovely stay and we'll be back in future!

“Value in out of the way places”

If you come here, you are going to the National Park. The lodge is 300m from the ferry to the park. It is quiet well cared for, and clean. The owner's son is very helpful, especially regards to organising guides, tours and transport. This place is good value.

“Amazing little stay, on the river, calm beautiful”

It’s a budget lodge; the value for money is certainly decent, but bear this in mind! The rooms are clean, though they could do with a bit of refurbishment here and there. The rooms on the river side are 5 metres from small communal terraces with benches and hammocks, offering lovely views of the river. The food is absolutely delicious; there’s no need to go out of your way to eat in the village – just eat there. The prices are very reasonable, by the way. The owners and staff are all very friendly. Special mention for the son, Luan, who speaks excellent English. He arranged a few things for me, such as a boat trip (at a competitive price) and a taxi to Long Khanh – a bit more expensive than Grab, but a nice car and a very careful driver. I hired a bike from him for the trip in Cat Tien NP; it wasn’t in mint condition (needed lubricating) but good enough for the trip, and he also gave me an automatic bike pump. My bike was stolen in the park (lock your bike even if no one else does). At the lodge, Luan immediately put me at ease and said he would find it, which he did. Thanks again for that, and also for the pleasant stay and the little chats.

“Great lodge and perfect advice from Luan about Cat Tien National Park”

This lodge is the perfect place to use as a base to visit the Cat Tien National Park. The rooms are basic (as you'd expect at the price) but very comfortable and a great size. The food in the restaurant is also really good. But the best bit is Luan, the host. He speaks excellent English and is a real "Mr Fixer" when it comes to advising on and arranging tours. Under his suggestion we did a nighttime jungle walk, the early morning Gibbon Trek, a full day of birdwatching, and the morning boat trip. All were amazing and arranged flawlessly by Luan. If you have any questions about what to do when visiting this amazing park, then he's your go-to man!

“Relaxing”

Lovely location by the river and close to the small ferry to the national park. The bungalow was simple but fine, could have been a bit cleaner. We had to ask for a duvet cover after checking in, but we got one. The pavilions in front of the bungalows are a perfect place to relax. Communication before and during our stay worked very well via WhatsApp. The host organised bicycles with a guide for our trip to Crocodile Lake, a boat tour and the onward journey to Da Lat. Breakfast and dinner are not outstanding, but perfectly reasonable.

Located peacrfully right next to a river and the jungle, the green hope lodge is the perfect place to start your tours or just relax. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great value for (not much) money. We had a wonderful time here. 5/5 stars highly recommend!

“Beautiful location, riverside relaxation spots, close to Cat Tien national park.”

The helpful staff, the common areas are well designed and beautiful places to spend time in nature whilst feeling comfortable. Rooms an bathrooms are a bit rough around the edges, but you’re staying in nature, near a national park so I guess you would expect that! Mosquito nets are huge and good quality. Great property, run very well. Free breakfast is a nice touch.

“Perfect spot to stay when visiting Cat Tien Bational Park. We loved it!”

We liked everything about the property from the staff and especially the location. Right on the river with easy ferry access to Cat Tien park. We stayed 2 nights and took the guided tours from Green Hope and they were well organised. We did the evening boat trip the day we arrived, the sunrise gibbon trek and the visit to the primate rehabilitation centre the next morning. Then today before we left we visited the crocodile lake. Was a fabulous peaceful experience n contrast to other places in Vietnam which we enjoyed too. Sitting in the hammocks watching out for birdlife on the river and reading in between visits.
