Great place for staying if you're tired after a long walk and you can't make it to the next town. The room was a little cold, but the owner offered us some heaters.

The location was quiet and on the camino

When we made the booking, we selected a twin room, which should mean the room is suitable for two guests. However, before check-in, I noticed that I had accidentally entered only one guest instead of two. I contacted the property to correct this, and I was asked to pay an additional €14 for the second guest. Later, I found that the price would actually have been the same even if I had selected two guests from the beginning, which felt quite unreasonable. Apart from that, the facilities were very old, and the room had very poor ventilation. When we arrived, there were many flying insects in the room. The shared bathroom was very dark, and the overall cleanliness was not satisfactory. Especially after walking 31 km that day, it was very disappointing that the accommodation did not provide drinking water. We were not comfortable drinking directly from the bathroom tap, and there was no kettle provided either. Overall, this was by far the worst accommodation we stayed in during our entire Camino trip. Honestly, I can hardly find anything positive to say about it.

We got one of the last available options in Castromaior, the facilities were good, everything functioned. Blankets were really warm. The beds were spacious.

There is a step in the hallway that is hard to see. My wife did not see it and fell onto the hard floor. She was fortunate to barely to have been able to continue walking. The step should be better marked with caution tape

It was easy to find and good instructions for getting the key out of hours. Small, basic room but served its purpose for one night. Bed comfortable and shower hot.

We booked. We showed up on time. We rang. We did call to the telephone. Never knew about them, no one at the place, 4 calls un-attended. It is in an aldea with only one single bar, which was actually closed. Total fiasco. PEREGRINO, do NOT sleep here!
