“A perfect base for exploring the Ring of Beara, with great hospitality and a special farm experience”
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house, perfectly located for exploring the Ring of Beara. The accommodation was one of the cleanest we experienced during our trip to Ireland – everything was spotless and very well maintained. The host gave us a very warm welcome, even providing delicious treats like scones, bread, eggs, butter, and milk, which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed being able to join in feeding the farm animals, which was a special experience. Both hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place!

“Comfort and personal touches in a lovely location”
Very well designed and built house, comfortable and well equipped in a wonderful location. Lots of nice personal touches - a welcoming spread including their own honey, their handmade soaps in the bathroom, going out to meet and stroke all their animals at feeding time. Lovely setting under a rocky hill and with a glimpse of the sea, about ten minutes drive from Castletownbere. My first time on the Beara peninsula, we got the cable car out to Dursey island and explored.

“Calm and cosy wonderful place.”
Beautiful atmosphere of a farm cottage. Very well equipped, we found there everything we needed for cooking and etc. Little fireplace made the evening super cosy. The hosts are very kind and sympathetic. They made our stay comfortable by preparing for us food after arrival and fun by showing us around the farm which is wonderful. Animals there seemed super happy as we were at this wonderful place! Recommending to everyone.

This is such a gorgeous, comfortable, cosy, well maintained house. The hosts thought of everything! Eggs, honey, bread, milk, water and hot cross buns on arrival which was a lovely touch. Lots of games in the house that kept the kids entertained even down to colouring pensils and paper. Location was ideal. Chris was nice enough to take us to feed the animals our boys (5&7) we're thrilled.

“Wild Wild West is the best”
The house is in a quiet location. It is a working farm. The owner is very accommodating. Any queries were answered quickly. The house is very comfortable. There were eggs and hot cross buns on the table when we arrived and also milk, teabags, coffee and bread. It is a short drive to the local town and to the Buddhist temple where they serve amazing coffees.

“非常棒!”
We have a language barrier, but the landlord is very nice. The room is very comfortable and the location is great. There are lovely sheep and alpacas, and the landlord was kind enough to let us feed the goats

“Gorgeous cottage - perfect for exploring wild Wild West Ireland!”
Our two bed cottage was gorgeous! Homely and spacious with everything you’d need. Really light, bright, and well designed with lots of thought - we appreciated all the cute quirks such as a little mouse hole painted on the stairs! Very comfortable place for a family stay. Chris and Steph are super welcoming and we loved meeting the animals - alpacas, pigs, chickens and brand new hedgehog arrivals! We also appreciated the lovely welcome basket and fabulous home made produce - baked goodies, home grown eggs & honey, as well as Steph’s amazing home made soaps. You’re right near the end of the Beara peninsula, with stunning coastal scenery and walks, it’s quiet and out in the wilds, you definitely need a car. Will be back!

“Peaceful place to unwind after visiting Dursey Island, Ring of Kerry/Beara !”
We were warmly welcomed by Chris, who showed us the lovely cottage. After the long day, we really appreciated the welcome goodies which thoughtfully consisted of everything we needed for breakfast (fruit scones, eggs, bread, butter, milk, water… and coffee & tea !). On top of that, the kids had a blast being presented to their team of alpacas, pigs, goats, sheep… we will return for more hugs from Elmo, Elliot and Elton ! We also got some of Steph’s handmade beeswax candles and soaps as gifts for family 💚
