Everything really, the owner responded instantly from an issue I asked about. Showed me around, it was all very comfortable and clean, and the shower was much better than most others you would get. Also little small shower gels were given. Having the kitchen up near by and having everything you would need and breakfasts provided in the morning...is honestly unexpected, but great. Having Tea and milk was heaven for me 😇. There was some info about things around to look at..Its stuff I never knew, was interesting and the Whiskey company you that is small, but worth visiting. Ask about it at your accommodation!! I would say, and it is my opinion, a Car or if you cycle a Bicycle, would be needed to go further than local. It was really good, and didnt cost and arm and a leg!!

Lovely l location, nice and quiet. Felt very safe to park our motorcycles. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Accommodation was spacious and the kitchen area for self service breakfast was great. The hosts made us feel very welcome giving us a choice of rooms. Would highly recommend.

The quietness and layout of the lounge area. The host Brigette was very accommodating with my dietary restrictions and provided additional food for the morning.

“A Beautiful quiet spot with comfort away from town.”

Location, travelling by was perfect. Host welcomed us at the door and lovely on such short notice. We were walked to our room and had a nice chat then left to ourselves and could see the stars through the ceiling window as we fell asleep. Very comfortable feeling.

It is in a lovely, quiet location & easily found. It has ample, spacious parking with a gate you call (from your phone) to open. It is almost brand new & spotlessly clean. My room was spacious enough, the bathroom was big & the bed really comfy. There were charger sockets & a lamp beside the bed which is very nice. I couldn't hear anything from the adjoining rooms. I felt at home straight away. Breakfast is self service which is ideal for me as I have to leave early & I can cook my food how I like it (although eggs, bacon etc were not supplied). I asked for GF bread & got it, many thanks. For those lucky enough, a selection of breads are left in individual wooden boxes. The owner was very responsive, helpful & friendly.

Lir Lodge had a beautiful homely feel. It was so cosy and comfortable we did not want to leave the room. The room was perfect for our needs. All information was provided including nearby places to eat. The lady owner greeted us and was so lovely and welcoming.

I have stayed at this B & B before and the reason why booked it again. The room is beautifully decorated and spacious. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is great. The bed is is comfortable. I like the idea that there is a separate kitchen area where you can prepare dinner if you decide not to go out to the local chipper. Breakfast is lovely with a variety to choose from.
