Big picture windows looking out onto a beautiful native garden. Cosy furnishings and great artwork. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Also only an 8 minute walk to the main street.

A very private & quiet stay overlooking Forest Creek. 10 min; walk to Cafe’s & pubs. Surrounded by large trees & abundant bird life. The building is beautifully quirky with many interesting features as is the outdoor seating area. A very comfortable place to spend a few nights & lots of historic exploring. Highly commended.

“Great location, Cute and Spacious room”
A short walk from the city centre but still tucked away and quiet, this place was in a super convenient spot. The room was a great size and comfortably fit us, with all the essentials provided, The air-conditioning was a lifesaver, especially as we arrived on a really hot day. The large outdoor area was a bonus.

Beautiful setting and quirky decor made Bird Haven a wonderful place for my partner and I to stay for a night in Castlemaine. Close to town and the ‘cottage’ itself had everything we needed. Loved the bathroom and the sculptures in the garden.
