A 10-minute drive from the towns of Westport and Castlebar, this charming 5-star accommodation. is surrounded by gorgeous countryside and pretty lakes. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. “Idyllic and stunning accommodation with the most wonderful hosts!”
The most beautiful location, property and the loveliest hosts! We had a very late arrival with a large group on a work trip, they were so accommodating and made us feel like we were at home when we were on the road. Absolutely stunning accommodation and the kindness and attention to detail was second to none, even provided us with a beautiful continental breakfast which set us up for a 7 hour drive. Very grateful to the hosts and really hoping our travels bring us this way again. Thank you!

“excellent for a family of 4-5”
The place was ideal ,perfect, more than expected, even breakfast was ready for kids in the fridge. Spotless place, very nice welcome from owner. Huge living area, big shower , nice swings on the tree kids liked a lot.

Garden Gates Bluebell apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. We received a warm welcome and given lots of information about shops and eating places in both Castlebar and Westport. The property is situated conveniently between both these towns and is set in a beautiful garden with lovely trees. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. There was also a welcome food package which included bread, milk, butter, jam, cereal, cheese, eggs, muffins, tea and coffee. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

“Great value accommodation for a a weekend break.”
Great location between Westport and Castlebar and plenty of parking space. Apartment was comfortable, spacious, clean and ideal for a short stay. There was also a helpful amount of supplies in the kitchen.

“Absolute gem of a place”
Fabulous location: quiet, scenic, loads of easy parking Accommodation: very clean, comfortable, well equipped, little kitchenette with air frier, fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, tea/coffee/milk etc. Loads of space with lovely living room, bedroom, bathroom Owner was friendly and helpful. A gem of a place and a total bargain, especially when compared to the cost of local hotels. Will definitely stay again

Larry was a top host and showed us around the cottage. We appreciate the breakfast bits and pieces he left us in the fridge. A really nice thought. The cottage was well heated and comfortable. We found the location very good and easy to find.
