Overview
With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. Guests can relax and unwind with a sauna, hot tub, and special water therapy features in the fitness centre and spa. Light and airy, the rooms have satellite TV channels and free tea/coffee facilities. All rooms also offer a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Free parking is available and West Knock Airport is 45 minutes' drive away. Mulberry Restaurant serves tasty and wholesome meals prepared with fresh, local produce. Healy Mac's bar has a good selection of whiskies. The Coffee Dock serves fresh, specialty coffee, teas and fresh pastries daily. We are delighted to offer ePower Car Chargining Facilities at our Resort. They are located in our Spa & Health Club Car Park.

We had the best time at Breaffy House. The room exceeded our expectations, down to the smaller details. The food at breakfast was delicious. Dinner is the bar was lovely, the tiramisu rivals those served in Italy! Dinner in the restaurant needed to be booked but we were the only table there, in our experience, the bar has better atmosphere. The gym and pool facilities were very good. It was a romantic getaway and we enjoyed it thoroughly, it's not too far from Westport or from Castlebar town centre, everything was within 30 mins driving distance. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Great surroundings around the Hotel. Lovely big room with a great view. Housekeeping Girls were very pleasant when we needed to get something off them.

Everything looked beautiful but lights could only be controlled at one side of the bed which meant that if the other person wanted to sleep it was so difficult . The Tv didn’t work and someone was sent to our room to fix this but unfortunately was unable to do so, also it was not possible to regulate the shower temperature so unable to take a shower ( however the bath was a great bonus) . The bar food was very poor . It’s such a pity as it is a beautifully appointed hotel with very friendly staff. We were in room 353 and on a positive note it was spotless

“Fantastic place!”
The hotel was absolutely amazing. The facilities were excellent, the swimming pool was spotless, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful throughout our stay. The food was absolutely fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. The scenery, the gardens, and the overall surroundings of the hotel were beautiful and created a wonderful atmosphere. We had the best time ever and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
