“Lovely”

Everything. The lodge is located in a remote area at the bottom of a mountain. It is secluded and private with nature being your only neighbor. The couple who runs the place were lovely. The views are spectacular.

Very well equipped kitchen with communal “left over” food. Ovens and hobs and kettles. We didn’t need it but can imagine the log burner stove in the winter would be amazing.

Felt secluded; a great way to disconnect. Attracts like minded individuals. Great layout, accommodates a lot of people. Comfortable space, great views all around. Very friendly host who was extremely helpful! Surprisingly had hot water and wifi, great spot, would stay again! Definitely bring layers though because it gets cold!

The place was comfortable and warm, had friendly staff and amazing scenery, not far from the main road. It reminded me of the times I had stayed there as a kid, quite a while ago!

not a typical backpacker I normally have, like the kitchen and rest area a lot.

Wonderfully peacefull relaxing and fire warm cosy lodge in a beautifull private Alpine location. Very much worth the 8km scenic gravel road to get there. Lovey Marg is well suited to her role as house person of the lodge...many thanks to her for providing a most enjoyable renewing stay.

Absolutely loved this small slice of heaven ! Margie was super helpful when asked for recommendations for hikes and things to do in the area and was such a breath of fresh air - thank you ! I ended up staying an extra night ! Very comfy beds and communal space. The views are just incredible.
