“Peaceful, beautiful and great dinner”

First of all what a beautiful location, next to wine fields, view on the Etna, on both sides on villages and a pool on lower level from the house. It was so quiet, you barely hear anything else than birds and wind. Also close enough to Randazzo and close to Castegliore for restaurants. We did an Etna hike to the top, wind tasting and visit to Taormina from here. Best place to come back after a full day. If you get the chance make sure to eat at the BnB it’s great. Breakfast was also very nice every morning. Host is very flexible, one day we needed very early breakfast so a simple option was given. Bed is good, shower too and clean.

The property is in the countryside, renovated. Our room was all small house. Very, clean and cosy. The breakfast or dinner is served in a separate house. We had the dinner here, it was best what we had in Sicily.

A truly beautiful part of Sicily, this was a lovely relaxing place to stay. We were only there for a brief stop but this would be a fantastic base from which to explore the local wineries. Our hostess was welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed the delicious dinner option at night served with outstanding wine, as well as the wonderful breakfast in the mornings.

I chose this accommodation because of the amazing reviews, but didn't find much of the praise. The view of Etna I could only see from my tiny bathroom window, the room was a little worn, the grounds a little messy, the pool area not very inviting. I guess it had a certain rustic charm and the location in the countryside is really nice and peacefull. The host Giovanna is very nice and cooked me a beautifull vegan meal my first nigth.

The place is beautiful, set in seclusion and decorated in an avant-garde style, located in a former vineyard. The owner is very kind, the bed is comfortable, and there's plenty of space to sit outside and, for example, admire Mount Etna.

We loved everything. The location was unbelievably good; gorgeous garden; totally relaxed vibe; wonderful dining room; excellent host who couldn't have been lovelier. Really good food and wine - fantastic overall experience.

The place is beautiful, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet only a 15-minute drive from town. It’s a large area with cottages that have individual rooms. There’s a patio, a pool, and a mountain view – not of Etna, but still stunning. It’s peaceful and idyllic. The owner is very kind and helpful. There’s plenty of parking space, and the gate is closed at night, so it feels very safe. The atmosphere is truly amazing.

“A delightful oasis in the countryside”

This place was an oasis in the country side. We had spent two days in Palermo and to arrive to Il Tanaceto surrounded by fields of wild flowers and green hills was exactly what we needed. We only booked a few hours before arriving and Giovanna did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She cooked a simple but delicious meal. We walked around the immediate area and all you heard - sounds of nature, the odd car and silence. And Mount Etna towering over us in the distance. Very enjoyable stay.
