Residence Al Lago is just 100 metres from Lake Trasimeno and 250 metres from Castiglione del Lago's historic centre. The residence features a large garden with swimming pool. “Fab pool area and great location”
Pool area was very nice and nobody else was there so we had it to ourselves. Breakfast is really good value at only €5pp and you can get as much as you want. Luigi is super friendly and helpful as was the other lady at breakfast. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the lake front and about 5-10mins up into the main area of the village up the hill.

Apartment was lovely as was pool and Luigi was a most welcoming and engaging host. Problem with water in kitchen was sorted out within ten minutes of his being notified! Lake is two minutes away, old Casitglione only ten minutes (up a steep hill). Highly reocmmended.

Wonderfully tranquil place right by the lake, a fantastic change of pace after we had visited Rome. The pool is fantastic and the staff were great, apartment cleaned every day and the air con worked really well

Luigi is an excellent host, nothing was a bother. We enjoyed his travel stories too. The apartment was fully equipped and well laid out. It was a good size and very comfortable. The pool was really refreshing in the heat of the day.
