Great view from the windows. The staff recommended a great restaurant to have dinner at great prices. Superb location.

Great location for visiting all of the towns surrounding lake Trasimeno. The owners of the villa were lovely. Fresh breakfast was made every morning as a large family they set a table up for us every morning. Excellent pool with a shallow area for our toddler. We stayed in the large family apartment upstairs the Views from there are incredible.

Beautiful and relaxing Poggio with a lovely pool surrounded by Olive & Cyprus trees. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Only a short drive to Castiglione where there are several bars & restaurants. Would definitely return. Highly recommend for a simple relaxing stay.

“Under the Tuscan sun :)”

Pros: Idyllic location – The property feels like a scene from Under the Tuscan Sun. It's also perfectly located for exploring both Umbria and Tuscany. Wonderful hosts – Anna was incredibly welcoming and full of helpful tips on what to see in the area, while Enrico baked the most delicious cakes for breakfast! Lovely breakfasts – Fresh bread, cold cuts, cheeses, jams, sweet treats, and those unforgettable cakes… all accompanied by delicious coffee. Well-equipped room – Everything we needed was available, and the option to borrow an iron was a great convenience. Comfortable bed – We had restful nights throughout our stay. Good climate control – Evenings in April were a bit chilly, but the air conditioning kept the room warm and comfortable. Easy parking – The property has its own private parking area, which made everything so much easier. Great for families – There’s a playground with a slide and swings, so little ones have plenty to do. Perfect for summer stays – The large swimming pool looked fantastic – an ideal feature for those visiting during warmer months. Relaxation & barbecue area – There's a dedicated space to unwind or enjoy a barbecue – a great option for evenings outdoors.

The place was great, clean and it has everything you need .! Location is excellent to visit around . The stuff is excellent and breakfast is fantastic with all locals food. The swimming pool is in the middle of the property a great place to relax and enjoy the landscape.

We enjoyed the fantastic location, ideal for exploring the region, the tranquillity, as well as an excellent breakfast, which the hosts, Enrico and Anna, have offered every day in their breakfast house. On the estate there is also a pool with very good loungers, which we unfortunately could not enjoy because of the weather. You can really switch off here for a few days and recharge your batteries. Tips from the hosts were very welcome and in the right place, especially because we visited this region for the first time. We will return for sure.

“A beautiful countryside agriturismo in Umbria”

The location is situated on a beautiful hill. In the morning when the sun is shining and you open the window the views are breathtaking. The owners are very friendly and are great hosts. We stayed in the 5 bedrooms apartment and it was great. Clean, comfortable and the big open fire brought us a great family atmosphere. I will go there again :)

old style farm house set in bucolic olive groves, we stayed in the Girasole flat upper floor of main house. it easily scomodare 2 families , has a main living room with beautiful original features and a splendid terrace where you can eat al fresco and play cards at night . Enrico is very meticulous about the property look and you can see how much love and care he has put into it.

€222 was way too much money for this room, Enrico is a very good guy so for me it was okay:)

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Poggio del Sole. The house had everything we needed and the owners are very friendly and warm. They arrange great wine tasting trips as well. The garden was beautiful and spacious and the views on the hills and the mountains were breathtaking. A wonderful Tuscany/Umbria experience in a peaceful stay. We would love to come back!
