The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. It is in a wonderful location with restaurants and cafes very handy. The breakfast was amazing. We would recommend this place very highly.

Perfect location. Perfect host. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fab (too many pastries for me and not enough savoury, but I’m nitpicking). Free parking is about five minutes walk, and the shop and bistros in the same lane as the hotel are wonderful.

The hotel is in the middle of the town. It has an appealing street appearance. The room was spotless and very inviting. Roberto, our host, was very friendly and accommodating and helped us by picking us up from the train station( no taxis, buses were nowhere to be seen). He drove us to the train station at the end of our stay. The breakfast room was a little cosy. However, the supplied breakfast was more than adequate. I definitely recommend La Torre hotel to anyone who wants to visit Castiglion del Lago.

“A good little hotel for a few days as a base for looking around the area”

We enjoyed being in the middle of the village - parking was OK too - we just paid for the convenience of being able to have a reasonable place to park which was not far from the hotel, just outside the city walls

Hotel is in a really good location in the heart of the town. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was of a good size with an effective air conditioning machine.

The accommodation is in the historic part of Castiglione del Lago, we used a room for 3 people, the room was spacious and very clean, cleaned every day, the beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great. The breakfast was excellent.
