Hotel Aganoor is in Castiglione del Lago historic centre, overlooking Lake Trasimeno and walking distance of the town’s castle. It offers a restaurant, and a terrace with panoramic lake views. Aganoor’s rooms are all air conditioned and feature private bathroom and TV. Most of them have antique furniture and wrought-iron beds. The hotel’s Restaurant La Cantina serves Italian and regional cuisine. Buffet breakfast including sweet and savoury food is served here. The hotel is located in a limited-traffic area 700 metres away from the SS454 state road. Perugia is reachable by car in around 40 minutes. The Aganoor is set on the second floor of a 18th-century building without elevator. It has a communal room with sofas and armchairs that leads to the rooftop terrace with lake views and sun loungers.

“Very nice stay”
Central location near shops, museums, main street, restaurants and caffes. The receptionist welcomed us with a smile and answered all our questions. Nice room with great view ro the lake

“Loved this stay! Comfortable, easy, great breakfast, nice facilities.”
The room and bathroom were very nice. Staff was kind and helpful. Everything was very clean - even under the bed was dust-free. I asked for a travel crib, and it was made up when we arrived with sweet baby blankets. Beds were comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Would happily stay here again!

The staff were friendly and the location in the old town was great. We had a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was nice spacious and quiet. Breakfast was lovely too, with a view of the lake.

Great hotel right in the historical center. The room was spacious, very comfortable and with lake view. I also much appreciated the possibility for guests to make a tea in the common area! Breakfast was delicious and rich. The staff was kind and immediately available for check in and check out.

Location great and exceptionally clean hotel. Staff nice. The lovely lady who did breakfast, she was warm and kind. Breakfast a good buffet. Lovely garden overlooking the lake.

“Nice hotel but, Overpriced breakfast to be avoided. (Potential Scam)”
A nice location, a beautiful drive through the Italian countryside to get to tje hotel set in historic grounds with amazing views over the lake. A nice walk down to the lakeside and cafe. Parking was expensive via a 'pay at meter' which you have to watch. At 8am we had to renew the parking.

“Great town, great stay!”
Great location and very welcoming and hospitable staff. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fresh sweet and savoury options and the restaurant had excellent views across the lake. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Nice communal lounge and rooftop areas to enjoy the views. Overall, very satisfied.

“A perfect hotel in a perfect spot! Great staff, great food, gorgeous views from the rooftop terrace!”
The hotel was in the heart of the historic centre. It offered beautiful views of the medieval centre and from the rooftop terrace, spectacular views of the lake. The piazzas were quiet n the morning but were lively in the late afternoon and evening when people gathered for drinks and food. Never too noisy though. The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Gorgeous meal with lots of local specialties. The buffet breakfast offerings were varied and so delicious. The hotel is in a perfect location with easy access by walking to the beach and the ferry. It was a perfect weekend getaway. I would come back in a heart beat.

We liked the location of the hotel which is on the main road of the city. There are stores and restaurants nearby. It's a walking distance to the lake. The room was clean and despite it being on the main road, the windows are double glazed so you don't hear noises. The hotel has a good restaurant with a view overlooking the lake and most times it's fully booked so reservation is recommended.
