“Fantastic spacious apartment with swimming pool and not too far from the sea!”

The place was fantastic. The flat was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything that we needed. It was also great to use the swimming pool during our stay. It was good to have private assigned parking in a secure area. There were also some good facilities that we didn't use (e.g., BBQ area, garden area, etc.). Lastly, the host at reception (Valentina) was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back and stay here. It is also really good value for money!

The apartment was at a great location (10 mins walk to the beach, shops and most restaurants). It also exceeded our expectations in terms of size and facilities - the bedrooms were spacious and there was a lot of storage space and the swimming pool was large and very well kept: it was constantly cleaned. There were also always lounges available by the pool! But most of all we were impressed by the service! Lovely Valentina helped us to get our cab on arrival and then was there with advice and support whenever we needed. Thank you so much for helping to make it a brilliant holiday for us.

Having an apartment overlooking the swimming pool was brilliant. The pool was a huge hit with the kids! We also loved how peaceful and relaxing it was on the loungers. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. I also loved being a short stroll from the coast for walking and swimming.

Clean and comfortable. Only 5 minutes walk to some small local shops, a few restaurants and the beach. The air conditioning worked well once we figured it out. The receptionist (Valentina) was exceptionally helpful. On a final note, if you order a taxi via reception, I would advise to check the fare in advance. We got ripped off and had to pay 20 Euros to get to the train station which is less than a mile. This is obviously not a reflection on Villaggio Mietta.

We really loved our second stay here! Beautiful place. So peaceful, clean, perfect pool, such friendly and helpful staff. Nice apartments, great terrace. Short walk to The beach and restaurant. We are coming back :)

We liked our appartment, it was fully airconed with all amenities including kitchen appliances. Our kids loved outdoor swimming pool, which was opened form early morning. I also liked personal approach of receptionist.

“Calm stay”

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was in a nice and quiet surroundings. Not many guests, so we could chill outside at the pool alone.

“A lovely and calm experience”

A lovely experience! We found everything we were looking for in this accommodation - the location is within walking distance of the Castiglioncello town centre, the train station, the COOP supermarket, restaurants and several beaches along the coast promenade. The apartment was modern and clean and offered all the basic equipment you might need - kitchen, cooking utensils, comfortable beds, two balconies to enjoy sunny afternoons at and so on. You can also use a communal washing machine for a small fee. There's a reception where you can ask for help with anything you need. There's also a pool with some sunbeds which we enjoyed. In September the location was very quiet and relaxing, exactly what we were looking for.

“Few issues around cleaningness”

The apartment is as per photos. Few points to mention: 1) the status of the balcony: it was dirty with pigeon poo (see photos). According to the reception staff, there is a wider issues with pigeons taking rest in the roofs of the property which is not easy to solve. While I appreciate that, from a customer standpoint I believe it is not acceptable to have this situation in the property. Due to this, we were unable to open the window in the kitchen resulting in the apartment being in the dark for the whole day plus was difficult to get proper ventilation resulting in a warm apartment 2) the refrigerator was not working and when opened it released a terrible odor 3) Towels and bed sheets have to be paid separately for EUR 20, I never experienced being charged separately for sheets and towels hence I find this at least odd. Perhaps are some issues specific to the property we booked but for these reasons I would not book again.
