Gorgeous farmhouse lovingly and artfully restored by its owner, Daniela, the former chief handbag designer for Dolce & Gabanna. Fabulous views to the town with its ever-changing skies, a superb pool and a large secluded garden for summer dinners. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Surrounded by nature with a well-kept garden. Very quiet but not secluded. To Castiglion Fiorentino 5min by car. There you will find many good restaurants and the little town has charm. Shopping facilities (supermarkets, bakery, butcher's, pastry shop and two great alimentari in short distance. You immediately feel at home and are convinced that you have made the right choice. The house has been beautifully renovated with much attention to detail. From the bedrooms to the living room, through an ideal kitchen (very well equipped). Bathrooms and the other rooms are extremely clean. Lovely 14m pool for lounging, swimming. I can't find anything negative and we dream of coming back.... Daniela is a great host, she looks after the property and the pool every morning and is on hand to advise and assist guests. “A Tuscan Fairytale.”

Daniela's home is large yet cozy, rustic, and simply beautiful. Daniela herself is very warm, attentive, and responsive. The view of the castle Cassero from her home is amazing, as are the views of the surrounding mountains. The home was impeccably clean when we arrived, as was the 14 meter infinity pool. There are screens on all of the windows to keep mosquitos out when you open the windows in the morning to let in some fresh air, and the furniture in the home complements the rustic stone walls and exposed brick perfectly. The setting itself is very quiet as it is away from town and surrounded by what used to be farmland that Daniela's family has owned since the 1600's. In fact, she grows vegetables in the neighboring property and she just may bring you some. The property is fully fenced, and has a gate, so vacationing there with small children is actually relaxing. Both of our kids just loved it and our son did not want to leave, though he got rather shy when Daniela said he could stay with her when we were about to leave and were saying our goodbyes :-). As for sightseeing, the city is just a few minutes away by car, has takeaway food options (Gallo Nero has fantastic pizza), and touring the walled medieval city itself is a highlight. If you are a runner like me, you'll find a plethora of routes through the mountain roads and trails. I could go on and on but, in short, I highly recommend staying at this property. My family and I will definitely be back! :-)
