“Charming old-world look and feel on amazing location”

The suite is in an amazing location on one of the main roads in the city, close to the Porta Fiorentina entrance. As shown in the photos on the listing, it has a charming old-world look and feel, just as one would expect from an accommodation in a historic town like Castiglion Fiorentino. The host was very friendly and helpful, offering great advice on where to eat and what to do. We also really appreciated his flexibility with our check-in and check-out times! In the evenings the street can get lively with youngsters, so for light sleepers it might be a good idea to bring earplugs.

The perfect place to stay! Right in the walls of the city, it was close to everything, including the bus stops to take you to Cortona. The apartment itself was beautiful, very clean and tidy with plenty of storage space and a really good shower. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. The host, Maurizio, was brilliant! He couldn't have been more helpful and gave great recommendations of places to eat and things to see. We'll be staying again next time we come and visit!

We had our wedding trip in Toscane. The location of the room at Castiglion Fiorentino is really good to make a tour at several places of the exquisite Valle di Valdichiana.The room is Firenze style, spacious and it has all the necessary commodities.

Situated in the middle of a historical old town. The town itself is worth 10 points. Great communication with the host. Wonderful experience.

Stayed over week with my wife and daughter and have absolutely great time here. Free parking and easy access to Siena,Cortona and Arezzo make the Suite La Gioconda an ideal base for exploring area of Tuscany. Comfortable, spacious room ( coffe/tea maker and fridge),beautiful fireplace and antique desk with chair, together with a functional bathroom with strong pressure of cold and hot water. Wifi worked very well. Hope, we can come back next year!

The location was amazing, right in the old castle. The room was so comfortable and quiet and cold (A/C works great) just like we love it. The bed and pillows were the most confortable! Everything was there that we needed. It was perfect.
