Overview
Located in Castelrotto's historical centre, Schgaguler Hotel overlooks Mount Sciliar, nestled in the Dolomites. Guests can enjoy an on-site restaurant, bar and wellness centre. All facing south and with mountain views, suites and rooms at the Schgaguler features Alpine style décor. Each unit has a private bathroom, smart TV, minibar and free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available daily. Our spa area features 2 indoor pools, a hot tub, 2 saunas and a hammam. Beauty treatments are available at an extra charge. A fitness center is also featured at the property. Buses to Bolzano and Bressanone stop 500 metres from the hotel. The A22 Motorway is 8 km away. A public shuttle takes the guests to the Alpe di Siusi cableway, a 10-minute ride away.

Lovely rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast! So much to love at this hotel The staff were so lovely helping us to plan hikes & recommending Refugio’s to eat at Beds were super comfy Great location in the centre of Castlerotto- stroll to the supermarket and gelato & minutes away from the bus which takes you for free (with the mobility pass)

“Excellent Stay”
We got upgraded room with bathtub. The room was very nice with mountain view. Its spacious and clean. The breakfast were good. The staffs were nice to us especially the one who greeted us when we were checked in. He explained to us very detail about hiking in the area. However there was one staff was rude at us at the parking lot. My husband already signaled him that we were sorry, but he was showing black face to us. One of the night we had dinner at the hotel, the food and the service were good.

New & modern hotel. All staff very friendly. Food very good including breakfast & dinner. I highly recommend to have dinner in hotel. Only €30 for a 4-course set menu. Everything is excellent. 😃👍👍

We had an amazing stay at Schgaguler. This is one of the best hotels we stayed at. The facilities are outstanding, and the staff is what makes this place a hidden gem. Sandra at the restaurant is just such a nice person, and everyone at the hotel is there to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. We miss it already! A special note to say that this place is super friendly with kids.

“Was delightful - hiking in the Alpe Di Suisi by day and then enjoying the amenities of the hotel”
The hotel was the nicest hotel we stayed in on our 2 week tour of the Dolomites. It is fresh, modern, comfortable and practical. The rooms, views and facilities are excellent. But the food is superb especially the dinner offering with a new menu every night.

“Spend a little more and enjoy a better holiday in Castelrotto, IT.”
Fabulous Hotel recently updated in 2018 with modern finishes. Everything was amazing - the Staff was over the top friendly and helpful, the bar area with fireplace and expert mixologists exceptional, nice afternoon tea, beautiful views, delicious restaurant for breakfast (need to book ahead to seat for dinner @30 euros/pp/4 courses, spa exceptional with heated pool, lounge, massage and rooms big with wonderful showers, toiletries (hyaluronic lotion) and wonderful outside area with hot tub, outside fire pit and balconies to view the mountain scape. We will return to stay here and spend more time in Castelrotto - a wonderfully idyllic location for experience and close proximity to ski slopes.

“Easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in”
The location was terrific. The rooms, restaurant and facilities were all exceptional. But what really stood out to us was the staff. Everyone from the wait staff to cleaning staff, bar staff and reception were so happy, friendly and helpful. We felt we were in the happiest place on earth.
