“Gorgeous!”

A wonderful happy stay in this delightful family owned and operated traditional chalet style hotel; this was a return stay! Location is superb, right in the centre of the old town, surrounded by gorgeous architecture - shops, town square, supermarket, eateries, all so very close by. The bus station is located just behind the hotel, a 2 minute walk away. The room was very comfortable and roomy, with an amazing amount of cupboard, wardrobe, shelving and table space. Highly recommend - the staff and service is amazing! A bonus - a washing machine and dryer available for use for a very small charge.

A wonderful hotel located directly in the middle of the shopping and services part of town. The bus station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Staff are attentive, helpful and very friendly. Room and bed was very comfortable; despite small size of a single room it had a wonderful amount of storage space. The breakfast was amazing, such a wide variety of offerings. I would love to return.

Hotel zum Wolf is a delightful traditional hotel with a traditional Tyrolean facade and decor. It’s a photo stop point for tourists! We really enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast and friendly service. The staff were extra helpful and I liked the idea of being invited to use the bar area after reception hours and have self serve relaxation with a honesty check pad. It is in a fantastic location if you are arriving with luggage because I suspect taxis are a bit rare and we caught the 170 bus from Bolzano - an easy walk from the station - and it stops right next to the hotel. The hotel gave us complimentary bus passes for the several routes that enable visits to Alpe Di Siusi lifts and Ortesei and its lifts, and beyond. No car needed which was great. Castelrotto/Kastelruth is a lovely small town and for us it was a perfect stay. We will be back.

It is a great hotel and the room was exceptional - very clean, roomy and very good shower and bath. The staff were fantastic ensuring we had information for our stay and the breakfast was awesome. Fresh and great variety. Highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional!! The location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions and in central Castelrotto. Parking was very convenient at the back of hotel at an extra small fee. Rooms very clean and spacious. Ours was facing the back with mountain views. Breakfast was excellent too. I couldn't have certain things cause of my lactose intolerance but I had a good choice of fresh fruit (melon, prunes and blueberries to name a few ) and had a choice of fried or scrambled eggs. Reception personnel were very welcoming and helpful. Our stay at Hotel zum Wolf made our holiday even more pleasurable. Also, our favourite restaurant was just a few minutes walk away.

ÍThe breakfast is very good, with wide selection ( You can ask fried eggs or scrambled eggs), and a lot of sweet cakes and fresh veggies fruits. They gave as a bus card to use the local bus system free (except on the seiser alm). So it was perfect we enjoyed every moments.

Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully curated to ensure the highest level of comfort and satisfaction. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the quality of the food, no detail was overlooked. This dedication to perfection made my holiday not just comfortable, but memorable. The breakfast experience at this hotel is truly unparalleled. Each morning, I was greeted with a delightful array of local bio products, carefully selected for their quality and taste. The spread included fresh bread and cakes of different sortiment, bio eggs which you can boil to your taste, creamy butter, a variety of succulent fruits of really great quality with fantastic taste (apricots, strawberries, melone), delectable cheeses, simply delicious big marinated plums, flavorful yogurts. And the Mr. Cappuccino – it was simply divine, the perfect start to each day. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Veronika. Her kindness and dedication were evident in every interaction. She took the time to explain the origins of the food served at breakfast, highlighting the hotel’s commitment to sourcing the best local products. Her attention to detail and passion for hospitality greatly enhanced my experience.

I really enjoyed my stay. Accommodation was perfect. I was grateful to get an upgrade, so I was extremely happy. Great location, busses at your back door to the Alps and train station. Such a beautiful place, my favourite. Facilities had all you needed. The breakfast was amazing, so much variety. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
