Overview
Situated in Castelrotto, within the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park, the family run Residence Trocker offers Alpine-style apartments and rooms with a balcony. The property features a small wellness area with free Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. Apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette plus a bathroom with hairdryer. Each has a living area with satellite TV, while some boast views of Mount Sciliar. A shared laundry and ironing facilities are available. You can enjoy drinks, snacks and traditional strudel at the on-site bar with terrace, or relax out in the garden. Here you will also find a solarium and free ski storage with boot warmers. A bus stopping 300 metres from the property links with Bolzano and Bressanone, 27 km away. A public ski bus stops in front of the Trocker Residence and takes you to the Alpe di Siusi ski slopes. Guests receive discounted rates on ski rental.

Very accessible to hiking options, with the Marinzen lift a few minutes by foot. Several restaurants, a supermarket and a pharmacy nearby. We were also given a room bigger than the one we booked, thank you!

The breakfast was really good and great options. The owners were always there and very helpful. There was a real community vibe going on in the evening in the bar with locals and tourists joining in playing card games. Highly recommend a sauna and steam anfter a spin on the slopes.

“In general, I like it here. Compared to the price and other places, the experience is nice.”
The hotel has a local vibe, and it feels like a family-run place. Our room is on the second floor with a nice view of the mountains. Everything is comfortable and meets good standards. Since it's my first time in Italy, I can't compare it to other places, but overall, I like it here. It feels like everyone already knows each other. I haven't had a chance to use the jacuzzi yet, though.
