“Really enjoyable ,, easy, very attractive walk to restaurants on the canalside. Quiet location .”
We were able to upgrade to a first floor room for a small charge, this had lovely views over the Bassin. Good breakfast, able to eat outside.

Our stay at Le Grand Bassin was a pleasant stay, except for having difficulty unlocking front door when coming back after dinner! The key lock was difficult. The breakfast was superb!
