“Not to be forgotten”
The exceptional thing was the chef! The food had depth of flavour, interest, beautifully presented. I ended up eating there all 3 nights. Linen tablecloths and napkins, no rush , no musak - couldn’t fault it. Air con helpful in the heatwave! Staff friendly.

“Convenient overnight stop”
Location in the middle of Castelnaudary is perfect, with plenty of restaurant/cafe/bar options. Bed was comfortable and the heating was very efficient.

The stand out for us was the hospitality of the staff, whether it be the lady (who obviously owns the hotel) at the front desk & running breakfast, to the wait staff over dinner. Very good value for money.

A comfortable hotel close to the Canal du Midi cycle route. Welcoming and friendly staff. My bike was stored overnight in the basement of the restaurant across the road. Good breakfast in the continental style. Charming restaurant and half - board option which can be changed with a small supplementary charge.
