“Wonderful stay with a warm welcome and great location”

Pasquale was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The accommodation is spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. We really enjoyed the thoughtful touches, like the snacks and a delicious breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom roomy, and the kitchen well equipped. Everything about our stay was perfect. The location is excellent, just a short distance from Castelmezzano.

“A top spot”

We were warmly welcomed by Pasquale with keys & any information needed. It is a beautiful apartment, extremely clean, spacious, well stocked, lovely outlook over the valley. We so enjoyed our night, it was so relaxing sitting outside late afternoon with a wine enjoying the peaceful location. Parking onsite was great & whilst we enjoyed visiting close by Castelmezzano we were so pleased we chose to stay here.

Castelmezzano was our last stop in our southern Italy roadtrip. We stayed in la casa nel verde and it was the best ending to our trip. The place was authentic, the hosts really welcoming and helpful and the room super clean and comfortable. They even baked us a homemade cake and we had the chance to have coffee and cake in the terrace enjoying the mountain view. Wish we could stay longer! If we come back to Castelmezzano, we're definitely staying there again.

The place is extra comfortable, quiet, intimate and with everything you could need. Perfect for just spending the night but also to rest reading a book contemplating the mountains. And the hosts are very caring and helpful.

We had a great stay! The owner, Pasquale, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He even called the ticket office on our behalf to arrange that we could pick up the via ferrata gear a day early, so we could start earlier in the morning because of the heat — we really appreciated that! His wife makes the most delicious apricot jam from Basilicata, and Pasquale served us breakfast with fresh salad from his own garden, which we also appreciated a lot. He was always easy to reach and very attentive. The apartment itself was spotless, with excellent facilities. It’s very modern, with a fully equipped kitchen — everything you could need is there. Highly recommended!

“Wonderful house, view and owners”

The location, the view. The house itself was perfect. The owners are so kind and friendly, they made our short stay unforgettable. The garden and the ambient. It is so clean, made it with style every detail. You can tell that the owners are doing it with a lot of love and passion. In the morning they left us the exceptionall breacfast made of local products. In the kithcen we were welcomed with a basket of jams, different drinks and coffee. We only regret that we havent gor time for more nights, but we definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Fantastic well appointed studio apartment a few kms from the town. Views of the valley and dramatic rocks with the clinking bell sounds of nearby cows make for an idealic setting. Hosts very welcoming and were there to greet us when we said we would arrive (this has not happened in other apartment stays in Italy!) Great breakfast provisions.

Quiet location in the country 2 km from Castelmezzano. The hosts provided wonderful home made cakes each morning and some home made jam which was a very nice touch.

Pasquale is an excellent host! La Casa Nel Verde is in perfect location. The place is extremely clean.The breakfast is rich and good quality. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the garden, admiring the nature around. We recommend Casa Nel Verde and hope to return in the future.

Beautiful property! So much attention to detail. Lovely room. Breakfast was great. Scrumptious cake and homemade marmalade. Cannot praise this place and the people enough! There’s a beautiful little mountain village a very short drive away. Outside space to sit on a warm evening. Highly recommend!

Neat clean and well placed

Homely. Easy parking. Near castelmezzano town.

We had a short but lovely stay at Pasquale's B&B. Everything from the communication before and during our stay, to the room which was exceptionally well equipped with a full kitchen as well as lots of coffee and snack items (like yogurt, toast, juice) at our disposal, to the amazing views from the room and quiet location, this B&B exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was also plentiful, Pasquale offered us the option of traditional Italian breakfast items vs eggs, cold cuts and bread. We opted for the latter and received a box with prosciutto, cheese, bread and fresh eggs which we were able to cook our way. We really appreciate the hospitality Pasquale and his family extended to us and would love to stay here again someday if we return to Castelmezzano.
