A very cozy, incredibly clean house with a gorgeous view from the window!!! The house is well heated, the plumbing is good, and the kitchen has a gas stove. Everything works perfectly. The owner gave us a lot of information (maybe too much 😆), and even sent a video showing how to get from the parking lot.

“Fascinating view in a wonderful village”

View above all! The place with the most extraordinary view I ever had in a rented house. The place was spacious and lighted, the kitchenware was pretty satisfactory. The bed in the gallery was very comfortable. Pierfrancesco was very helpful in advice and in renting his e-bikes which proved to be the highlight of our stay. We will certanly come back.

“Amazing stay with spectacular views!”

The view & location were amazing !!! Pierfrancesco was extremely helpful! He gave all the information (including videos) of where to park your car (not permitted in the town), how to get to the property, restaurant recommendations, info about activities to do & things to see. Ask him about his e-bike tour….it’s fantastic!!!!! Would highly recommend staying & going for a pedal & of course ziplining.

“Spectacular - like a fairytale”

The view is just amazing. Best view of Castelmezzano. Better than the photos. You have the big open view from the living room and also a ceiling room where you can see from the bed. See photos. All photos are taken from the room. WhatsApp contact with the host was also very easy, proactive and responsive. It helped us locate the apartment. Also, the village apparently has a recurring water problem, which they manage by closing the water at 21:00 and open again at 7:00. The water works fine between those hours. The host left a big jerrycan of water in case of emergencies within these hours. Also left a bottle of fresh water. Since it was low season we were allowed to check-out 2 hours later.

“Spectacular view in a must visit village”

Absolutely stunning view of the Dolomites and village. Beautiful stone cosy but spacious apartment , with bedroom loft overlooking living area. Beautiful bathroom with large shower. Very clean and was lovely that the host had the apartment heated for our arrival as the temperature outside was very cold. It was so nice to be able to just sit on the lounge or prepare your meal in the kitchen and take in the amazing view which is even better than the photos. I don’t think you could find a better view from any other location in the village. We pondered staying there due to the fact you can’t drive into the village but it is definitely worth the short walk in with your luggage even if you have to do it in 2 trips. Host provided video instructions of how and where best to park and also the walk from there to the apartment. Also provided lots of tips on hikes and walks around the village, via Ferrata and places to eat etc. Amazing experience and highly recommend staying there. Loved every minute even when it was so cold outside.

“Spectacular view”

The view from the balcony is spectacular! Note, cannot really sit on balcony. Pierfrancesco provided helpful videos where to park (5min walk away with small fee of 3.50 Euro per day) and how to get to apartment. Loved the styling of the apartment and it had everything we needed. Quiet and comfortable. Bonus sky window above bed!

The view is incredible and a perfect base for hiking. The host is also very knowledgeable and helpful in this regard. Due to steps and distance from car parking best to leave any heavy cases in the car

The room had the most beautiful view from a small terrace. Very bright room with lots of light. The girl that met us was great in finding somewhere secure to leave our bikes in a locked shed. A quiet location & private A reasonable distance to the main Piazza for coffee & beers

Castelmezzano is a jewel. And the view from the apartment is fabulous! This alone makes it worthwhile to stay there. Lots of information from the host! Absolutely to be recommended.
