Tenuta La Lupa is housed in a colonial mansion from the 18th century which enjoys a peaceful, green location just 10 minutes from the sea and 30 minutes from Livorno. In the recently renovated stone building you will find cosy, rustic rooms with sweeping sea and countryside views and in La Lupa’s tranquil grounds you can enjoy a panoramic swimming pool and a lovely garden with olive trees and vines where you can enjoy drinks and meals in summer. The nearest restaurant is within walking distance, about 700 meters. Osteria Le Badie, you can reserve a table directly at the hotel. A wonderfully relaxing base for touring Tuscany, from here you can easily enjoy day trips to interesting towns such as Pisa, Lucca and Volterra or alternatively wine-lovers will have the chance to visit important vineyards and wine manufacturers at Bolghieri and Suvereto.

“Very satisfied”
Great location for exploring Tuscany. Andrea Bocelli's hometown of Lajatico and the Teatro Del Silenzio are a short, pleasant drive away. Also Pisa, Livorno and other beautiful seaside towns. The hotel offers great views. Nice pool and terraces. Typical good Italian breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. If possible, we recommend a room on the first floor with a terrace. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Tenuta La Lupa — a great place for a peaceful getaway. The property is green, well-kept, and very clean. Quiet and cozy, it really felt like home. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed every moment and didn’t notice any downsides. Would happily return and recommend it to others!

“Great experience, great location, great host.”
The location is beautiful and quiet, nice view from the pool, outside area available to spend quality time with the friends. We had a ground floor room with outside sitting area, all very comfortable and clean. Excelent host, very kind and helpful, always doing everything to make our stay as nice as possible. We also had our motorbikes, did every day bike tours in Toscana. Our host prepared a special parking places for the bikes, gave us ideas for the daily trips.

“Pleasant one-night stay”
Cleanliness, staff availability, and overall hospitality were excellent. We stayed for just one night and found everything to be well-organized and comfortable. Our room faced the pool, which made for a nice view, though it was still too cold to use the pool at this time of year. The value for money was solid. Still, a pleasant short stay. Recommended. 👍

“Highly recommend!”
Beautiful off road kind of hotel. The pool was amazing, could be a bit cleaner but we understand it can’t be sparkling every day! Next to that the staff was absolutely lovely! Very kind hearted (even when we asked if they could make us a cappuccino at 22.00 in the evening and nobody was there 😅). We loved it and wish we could’ve stayed longer, thank you!!

“Super stay”
Beautiful, stylishly furnished room. Quiet air condition. Friendly, helpful owner (speaks English well) served us for breakfast with excellent cappuccino, orange juice, extremely good croissants, fruit, sweet. “Meat- salt” breakfast is a hard-boiled egg.

“Pool was great but had leg injury and couldn’t use ladder and there wasn’t a walk in option.”
Breakfast was very good. They provided a range of gluten-free options as we couldn’t eat gluten-containing products.
