Overview
Set in Castellina Marittima in the Tuscan countryside, Hotel Il Poggetto offers beautiful views across the hills. Its large garden features 2 swimming pools, a children's playground, and a barbecue. “Beautiful Spot in the Tuscan Hills”
Full breakfast buffet was a real treat! Roaming the hotel grounds after check out, we explored the property for close to an hour, snapping photos and taking in the gorgeous landscape.

“Hospitality at it's best.”
Wonderful location with amazing views. Every facility you would ever need and the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever come across - they even got their car out for us to follow when a road was closed and the satnav couldn't find another route. We will 100% stay there again and next time we will base ourselves there.

“Good for me”
It was a nice ride on the motorcycle to the hotel . It had a good carpark for the bike . The staff was really nice . There was food on site as well . It was nice and quiet out the way , just the job for me away from all the tourists . The room was clean and all was good

“Nice hotel with swimming pools”
Nice hotel, almost like a resort with swimming pools. The hotel has a restaurant and our room had its own balcony. :)

This was our favourite of the hotels we stayed at during our trip around Tuscany. Very short walk into the nearby small town of Castellina Marittima, which we enjoyed visiting. Everywhere was clean and our room was comfortable with a fan. The rooms are located in 2 separate buildings across the car park from each other. Ours was separate from the main building with the restaurant and it had a fridge on the ground floor that we could use to chill drinks. The pool was lovely and was kept very clean. Children's paddling pool was also great. Breakfast was plentiful with a choice of cold meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, fruits, cakes, bread, yoghurt, jams...... and the best coffee! The restaurant in the evening was good value with generous portions, delicious food and lovely waitresses. We enjoyed very much and will hope to visit again.
