“Everything I'd hoped for from Tuscany and more”

This was everything I'd dreamed of for a stay in Tuscany and more. The food was superb, the wine tasting a delight, the massage at the spa - quite possibly the best I'd ever had. The rooms are comfortable, the views spectacular and the trail running - amazing! Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at Locanda Le Piazze. Our executive double room offered breathtaking views that made every morning feel special. The pool had beautiful views to the Tuscany hills and vineyards - it was a perfect spot to unwind, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing, far away from the noise and traffic. All the staff were fantastic - so warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Dario, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and gave us wonderful advice on our visit to San Gimignano. We had dinner at the restaurant a couple of times and the food was excellent, and breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables that set us up beautifully for the day. We did a wine tasting at the sister hotel One Belvedere and it was amazing. Giudita , the host, was very knowledgeable and passionate about their wine and their natural ways of farming and making wine. We had a great afternoon learning about the process and trying their delicious wine and olive oil. Overall, it was a perfect mix of comfort, relaxation, and great hospitality. We would love to return!

“Idyllic Tuscany recharge”

We loved the location – nestled in the Tuscan hills, it was the perfect place to relax and disconnect, with breathtaking views all around. The staff were incredibly attentive – special thanks to Dario for the warm welcome. Locanda Le Piazze is just a 15-minute drive from Castellina in Chianti, a charming village full of local restaurants, and ideally placed for exploring the Chianti region, Siena, and beyond. Returning to the hotel’s swimming pool after our day trips was a real treat. We didn’t have time to use the gym or book the spa, but we had breakfast at the hotel every day – it was varied and tasty, with lovely views of the garden and hills. Our room stayed cool thanks to the AC and ceiling fan, and we slept perfectly even during the hot days of our stay.
