Overview
Set next to the 13th-century Castle of Grignano, this charming stone farmhouse is 7 km outside Castellina in Chianti. Surrounded by nature, it features a large garden with tables and chairs. La FIABA is set in the Chianti wine district, in an area famous for its Gallo Nero wine. Tours of an organic winery are available on request. Rooms have a classic design with wrought iron beds, wood furniture and a private bathroom. Free parking is also provided. La FIABA B&B is set in the Chianti hills. It is halfway between Siena and Florence, 30 and 40 minutes' drive away respectively.

Simone is an exceptional host who shows genuine interest and care towards his guests and he made me feel very much at home. The accomodation is very comfortable and so well decorated. Very peaceful and just the place to recharge.

Such a cosy place to stay if you are visiting Chianti! Simone, the owner is super nice and helpful! He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and wine tasting places. Our room was super cute and clean, and the location of the accommodation is very convenient to visit around the area. Totally recommend it and will stay again to this amazing place if in the area! La Fiaba has many advantages - place, beatiful antiquity, stylish equipment and complements, Also breakfast is top notch. But mainly for the reason that quartermaster Simone is the right man on the right place.

“Great place to stay!!”
It was a nice & comfy stay in this cute house. It’s a cool and rustic house that Simone has taken care of very well. Room is very clean and cozy. Simone made all pastries for the breakfast for the guests. It’s very nice to have a breakfast in his cute kitchen, sharing traveling information with other guests as well. I highly recommend this place.
