“A stunning view doesn’t justify what felt like an outright scam”

The main building of this Tuscan property is undeniably charming, elegant, full of old-world character, with stunning views that make you understand why Tuscany has been inspiring people for centuries.

A revisit 32 years on! Much as we remembered, but no restaurant any more 😕. The pool is fab, it’s quiet and a cool place to spend a few days.

Everything was very old. The breakfast was very poor. Heating was not working. The toilet flush was not working although we informed the reception it was not fixed.

The room was noisy all night because of the old heating and the roof. We had horrible nights and couldn’t sleep at all. There was no windows but the door couldn’t be locked properly, anyone could break in. Breakfast was horrible. Eggs had poop on them and same eggs were served next days. The cake was from a supermarket and left on some random table in the lobby all the time and served next day. Cheap juice, cheap salami, cheap ham. We just had coffee one day, and next day skipped breakfast… all the good pictures they have are super old so there is no such good breakfast or good things left. At night it was super creepy because of unknown noises from outside and the roof. We mentioned that the room can't be locked safely and it was super noisy and the staff didn't do anything.

The atmosphere of perfect relaxation in an elegant Tuscan villa. The place is for the ones looking for authentic moments of italian summer, tranquility and respect for traditional values. The olive-trees orchiard and vineyrds, seen from the the windows of the library or living room - fully opened to the public- are unique. There is also a small chappel in the villa.. In addition, the services were great, we appeciated the fresh fruits at the breakfast and the overall cleanless.

Quiet, beautiful scenery, very friendly service, the lady (owner) helped us with many useful information and suggestions.. One can enjoy drinks while resting on the pool beds, many restaurants close to the hotel/villa, vine…

The location of the villa is magnificent. It overlooks the beautiful hills of Tuscany and the gardens or the hotel per se are very well taken care of. The villa itself has a very unique rustic style with beautiful old furniture and ambiance overall. The couple that runs the place was always with a smile, very helpful and with nice suggestions on what to do! Also, when I had an issue with my mattress, they were amazingly quick to tackle and solve the issue, which is very much appreciated!

A Tuscan villa, it has seen better days, but still comfortable with its own spirit and charm. The surroundings are magical and available for dozens of trips. The driveway is very dusty.

Great and peaceful location near Castellina in Chianti. Place where you really can relax and enjoy in the nature during the day and convenient for exploring nearby villages and vineyards in Toscana in the afternoons. It was clean and breakfast was great!
