Overview
Casafrassi is an 18th-century villa with free WiFi located in a panoramic setting less than 5 minutes’ drive from Castellina in Chianti. This large estate boasts an outdoor pool. This converted farmhouse is home to charming rooms decorated in a typical Tuscan style. All rooms offer lovely views of the countryside and surrounding vineyards, while some include a TV or minibar. Breakfast at Casafrassi is à la carte style, and includes homemade cakes, pastries, fruit juices, hot dishes and cold cuts. During summer it can be enjoyed on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Chianti hills. Horse-riding excursions, cultural tours, cookery lessons and wine tastings can be arranged. While you’re here take the opportunity to visit the property's wine cellars and taste the Casafrassi's oil and wines. The property has its own restaurant and bar. Try typical Tuscan cuisine on the panoramic terrace, enjoying views over the vineyards and olive groves. Casafrassi is 10 km from Siena and wihtin 30 minutes drive of San Gimignano and 1-hour drive from Florence and Cortona.

Villa Casafrassi is located on a nice and green hill at around 15 minutes by car from Siena. It's a good solution to enjoy the Tuscany landscape and have a good relax surronded from the nature. Room was located on the first floor on the building and was clean and conforteable. Breakfast was also practical and well done. There are possibilities to walk around the property and admires the landscape. A swimming pool was available probably in the summer season.

I've spent 5 days with my daughter at the beginning of August. The place is amazing, on top of a hill in the Chianti region. The landscapes and the views around are breathtaking, the hotel the people and the facilities are great. We had very good breakfast every day and we had just one dinner at their restaurant where I could try their own produced wine. The place is situated at roughly 30 minutes from Siena by car and in 1 hour range from other places like San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino. After visiting these place we were going back to relax in the swimming pool. Within 5 minutes by car you can reach Castellina in Chianti where there are several places to have dinner in the evening. I recommend this place to everybody who wants to enjoy the real Toscana.

left as arrived paid the whole non refundable fee! had to rebook somewhere else. very small room without good air condition,outdated, needs renovation .

“Casafrassi is a splendid place to unplug and recharge your batteries breathing in the true Tuscany culture and flavors.”
The location was superb and the staff was very nice. The beautiful surrounding nature brought silence and peace to our stay and a sense of deep relaxation. also the local products (wine, oil and grappa) are exquisite and good value for money.
