The location was perfect, we needed a spot for one evening and secure parking for our car. It was a lovely apartment and we had access to all the facilities in the hotel. They had restaurants and we could have breakfast at the hotel too. Although it was only for one evening we could still enjoy beautiful Castellina in Chianti.

We especially appreciated the excellent air conditioning because the outside temperatures were extremely hot. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and generally of a very high quality. The location is excellent, it is a very short (3-4 minutes) and safe walk to the centre of Castellina. The ladies at reception were warm and friendly and made the check in very straightforward. There is a private car park on site which is 20 metres or so from the front door.

The apartment was very roomy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. It was far enough back from the main road to avoid hearing any traffic noise, but close enough to the village centre so it was only a two-minute walk to get a gelato or coffee or to go for dinner. A problem we had with the shower was fixed very quickly.

We loved our apartment.. it was spacious with great facilities. We booked a balcony and also a garden view room as there was 6 of us.

Spacious apartment over two levels, it had everything you need, great outdoor sitting area with amazing views. Located on the edge of town, but with a short walk to the main area which was ideal.

The apartment exceeded our expectations and I thought it was very good value for money. Having visited Castellina in Chianti a few times before, and having stayed both at the Squarcialupi Hotel and in one of their villas in La Ferrozzola, we were keen to see what these apartments were like, and we were not disappointed. The apartments are in a great location, with excellent views over vineyards and olive groves, yet within easy walking distance to Castellina with a wealth of good restaurants to choose from. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully cool when we checked in (it was 33C outside, and we’re not used to that kind of heat) and larger than we really needed. The balcony with enough space for a couple of sun loungers (provided) and a table and chairs was a great place for breakfast before the sun came round and made it probably too hot for us in the midday heat. By the evening we could sit out again with a drink and enjoy the last of the sunshine while drinking in the view - something I would never tire of. The little kitchen area was perfectly adequate for our needs, with a decent fridge and ice compartment which made ice cubes surprisingly quickly. It was well equipped and we could have cooked there easily enough but we chose to take the short stroll into town for the 3 nights we were there. We took advantage of the 10% discount in the Squarcialupi Tavern on one evening, which was also very good. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and went out of their way to help me connect to Wi-Fi at the hotel when my laptop was playing up. Overall, highly recommended and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The apartment was clean and spacious with all we needed for our 2 night stay. The location was within close walking distance to the town with many restaurants. Check-in via the hotel nearby, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You get discount in the amazing restaurant near the hotel and shop as well as free access to the hotel swimming pool that can be a nice option. The breakfast choice was excellent. The restaurant food was great with a wonderful view from the terrace.
