Nice peaceful location with great access to the mountains. Castelbueno is a very nice place, with nice restaurants and bars.

This location is amazing from all points of view(nice view to the mountains, very clean/spacious appartment)! I highly recommend! And also Gian Fillippo is a good host! I will return here next year to stay longer.

Superbe welcome. Guian was so welcoming, even escorted us the easy way to the supermarket to avoid narrow alleys! Top hiking advice too. Thank you. Responded to questions very speedily. Loved the terrace, the space of the house, the car parking. We liked the 600m steepwalk into town, pretty easy and walked off dinner on the way home! Well equipped kitchen and first place in sicily with chopping knives! Quiet area felt like a lovely neighbour hood. Wanted to extend our stay but already full. Highly recommend.

Nice spacious location. Host is very friendky, and has helped us practically when we needed a dokter. Superbe. Just a little (steep) walk from the center of Castelbuono. Very good!

The flat we stayed in was very cosy and conveniently located. The host was very nice and helpful.

We stayed here for three nights, the owner Gian Filippo was an excellent host showing us a local restaurant the day on our arrival. The apartment was located on top of the village with a great view from the balcony. Everything was clean, and great parking opportunity if you arrive with car. Castelbuono was a authentic small Sicilian village, we loved it. 30-40 minutes from Cefalu. Would book again!

Gian Filippo is a very likeable and kind host. Communication was great and he tried to cater to all of our needs. The apartment is spacious with multiple balconies and settled in an amazing quiet environment surrounded by hills. Yet, you can walk to the city center and enjoy the atmosphere of Castelbuono. Value for money is outstanding and we would certainly come back!

We had a lovely self service apartment. Very comfortable and spacious. Our delightful host Gian Fillipo met us , then took us to the supermarket. We stayed for three nights and loved it. The town was really authentic, not touristy. Great restaurants. Highly recommend Sue and Charles. New Zealand

“Spacious mansard flat with great views in a quiet area, but close enough to the historic center.”

Very nice mansard flat with wonderful views from the third floor. In spite of daylight temperatures around 36 Celsius, the nights were comfortably cool, because there are so many windows to create an effective draft air conditioning substitute. It is only a ten minute walk from the quiet location at the edge of town down a steep hill to the city center.
