Proper hotel with proper hospitality - first class.. Very comfortable and very quiet.

Everything, We always stay at this Hostal on our journey to the Costa Blanca. The Owners are very friendly, the hostal is very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has an excellent menu del dia at an excellent price.

Very friendly host David and his sister who runs the bar and restaurant. The hostal is spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and pillows. David gave us a choice of room, so we chose one with a balcony. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, which was very good and excellent value.

The owner/chef of this hostal is an absolute perfectionist and ensures that every detail is perfect. Amazing. Lunch the next day was lovely. The view from my room was great.

For a budget accommodation our room and in fact the whole premises were immaculately clean. Breakfast is basic but again typical Spanish continental. The restaurant offers a good selection of meals although opening time is later than Brits would be used to - not that it is really a problem giving time for relaxing pre dinner drinks. David, the owner always welcomes us with a smile. Our two cats are also welcome.

Exceptionally clean and very friendly

What a lovely place to stay, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower was powerful and hot. The owner was very hospitable, as was his sister who runs the adjoining restaurant. We had a delicious evening meal, which was very tasty and excellent value for money. She wanted to practice speaking her English and I wanted to practice my Spanish, so we had a lovely evening. Also ideal if you have a dog, as plenty of places to walk, and also they don't charge for dogs.

David, the owner was really pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view from the terrace. The breakfast was good. We will definitely stay here again when we visit this region.

Excellent good value stopover hotel with very friendly staff and sparkling clean throughout. David even let me park my motorcycle in his garage which was very nice of him. Good valve breakfast and excellent valve restaurant attached next door with traditional Spanish dishes.

Casa Barranco is a no nonsense pristine hostel. We’ve stayed there at least 12 times and David the owner/chef is always looks immaculate in his white overalls and is always welcoming.. This is translated into the bedrooms with immaculate white sheets and towels. The ensuite bathroom had a large powerful shower. The breakfast is basic continental but no problem with size. There is an attached restaurant and bar which is very reasonable. Food is simple but plentiful and there is a good selection available.

Easy access to the hotel including parking. Quite a good restaurant right in the hotel.

Our host was very pleasant, he worked very hard to make everything perfect for us. Supplied us with everything we asked for and the continental breakfast was lovely. Cleanliness was 100%. The bed was bigger than average and very comfortable. Very quiet at night, a small balcony to step out on. Lots of almost medieval architecture in the immediate locality. Good car parking included. We will visit again. Excellent value for money.
