My apartment downstairs was very clean, nicely furnished and quite spacious. The location of the guest house is perfect, three minutes to the beach and many restaurants are directly around the corner. Scott is a great host who gives tips for the region! 😊 I also arranged airport transfer with him and one day, we did a day trip to nearby sites (hummingbird garden, Englishman’s Bay, etc.). I had a great stay and look forward to visiting again!

Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed and very comfortable. Due to airline delay they waited at the airport for over 3 hours for our arrival. The rooms very tidy and comfortable for our stay, the kitchen was fitted out with everything you would need if you had to prepare a meal. It was very homely with a lived in feel about the rooms. We had 2 bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms, four persons would comfortably stay there without being in each others way. The location is ideal, away from the main tourist areas, yet with a lot to enjoy. The sea views from the porch, the walks, the hills on the other side. The beach is literally 2 minutes walk! The villagers are so friendly and welcoming! There are a couple of shops which are not overpriced, and a few eating places serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We would definitely go back there. So if you're looking for a nice homely place in a beautiful quiet location, this is the place to be. Thank you Scott and Usha for making our visit to Castara, Tobago such a memorable one.

I stayed La Casa the Castara for 11 nights and loved the place. There is a number of apparents to choose from, each one unique and full of character. I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment which was ideal in every way. Each bedroom had en suite bathroom and there was open plan lounge with well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a big balcony with outside place to eat or just sit and relax. I loved the beautiful views from the balcony on the village and sea as much as watching hummingbirds flying around and feeding themselves from hanging down feeders. The location of the property is very convenient as it is located in the centre of the village with short walk to the beach, ships and local restaurants. It made feel like I was a part of this beautiful, tranquil carabbean village. The Casa the Castara is a family run property and the owners Narine and Scott are wonderful hosts who made us very welcome. I would be definitely coming back

Basic but clean and well equipped with plenty of space. Good air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Right in the centre of Castara and close to the beach. Shurlan, was very friendly and helpful and quick to answer any queries we had.

Castara is a lovely relaxed place with a fine beach set in gorgeous scenery. The Casa was ideally placed just a few paces from the beach, and numerous eateries. The air con works very well, the terrace was a great place to sit and relax. There was a fully equipped kitchen, and the host was like everyone in Castara, very friendly and helpful. A taxi from the airport to Castara costs 330 TT dollars. The place is very easy to find, and has a sign outside - right in the middle of the village.

The guest house is close to the beach and fully equiped. Shurlan was the perfect host. She is very friendly and really helpful. She even organized a hair dresser for me.

Very nice and cozy spaceful apartment with well equipped kitchen, suitable for families. Perfect cleanliness. Breathtaking locality, the beach is only few steps away, the supermarket is on the way to the beach. The nature around is amazing and there is a lot of places to go and activities to perform. The owner with her wife took care of us, they are very pleasant people.
