A comfortable bed sitting room. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. Lovely balcony overlooking tropical trees with many visiting birds. Fabulous.

Did not have breakfast and the stores are few and few between plus transportation,. I attended to myself with snacks and soft drinks.

We visited in the off season so breakfast was not included but there are places close by where you can purchase meals. The wifi worked well and so did the AC plus there is a fan in the room if it was still not cool enough. The Castara beach is a 10 min drive away. You could walk if you are fit and don't mind the blazing sun.

“Budget and Location over cleanliness”

Cottage Mango in Castara cannot be beat on price (budget friendly) or location. It is a 15 - 20 minute walk away from the central hub of the village with several restaurants, the beach, a pharmacy etc. It is in a relatively quiet area with the occasional loud speaker car but the cottage is quite intimate with a lovely terrace that is very breezy; do carry bug repellant. There is hot and cold water available and the water pressure is excellent.

Very nice place with nice terrace and view to the seaside. You can find everything you need in the room, and also internet connection is very reliable.

We had a great time at Cottage Mango, I would recommend it to anyone. We especially loved the terrace.

If there was anything we didn't like as long as we mentioned it to the staff they took care of it quickly. Always better to talk to the staff first.

This location is quiet. Nice sunset sea view through the trees and the birds that visit the balcony are quite lovely, especially the motmots. If you like walking, visit the cemetery next door and climb the hill for a 360 view. Balconies front and back allow for cross breeze if you leave doors or windows open. The a/c is appreciated if you are in the room in the middle of the day.

“Great hosts”

The location was great. The room was clean and pretty and had all you could need for a nice stay. But i have to say what really sold it was the view. Amazing balcony views that felt even better as you hear the nice tropical rain come in. Would recommend to anyone. The hosts were nothing short of fantastic. Thank you.

Bruce went out of his way to accommdate us and all our requests. The property was great, the view was great, auto rental was great, the room had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely visit again.
