We loved the view from our eco friendly and very well appointed self contained place - we could see the sea and were surrounded by trees, flowering plants and birds. We liked being a short walk downhill to the village of Castara with grocery shops, places to eat local food and entertainment. Bars on the beach were very friendly. We loved getting a boat to nearby coves and snorkelling. Paradise for us!

Castara Retreat is an absolute gem - fabulous location, stones throw for a beautiful beach and supermarket, and the yoga teacher, Judah is delightful. We loved our stay there. Hummingbird feeders in the restaurant, which was a treat. Very helpful staff and excellent driver service. 😍.

The location of the property was ideal allowing you to be integrated with the local community when desired but also allowing for privacy and quiet when desired. The room had everything needed for your stay. The staff were all amazing and went above and beyond to make you comfortable.

Very relaxed environment surrounded by wildlife. Comfortable apartments with everything you need including citronella candles. Feels very private.

Amazing eco.lodge resort in the small village of Castara The 17 lodges are relatively secluded on a Hillside opposite the beach. It has a restaurant, bar and yoga studio. The beach is pretty secluded itself, and has loungers for hire at either end of Big Bay. There is good snorkeling at Little Bay and a great walk up to a fab waterfall and pool. There is a bar at Little Bay and another on the Big Bay, with parties on Weds and Thursday respectively. Castara is a wee little village with a couple of restaurants, a couple of small mini marts and a man who sells fab fishburgers right next to the fish market

It was beautiful and Castara is stunning. Just so romantic and as described. The staff are wonderful. The space is lovely and it was enjoyable being there.

This co retreat is perfect if you’re after raw natural beauty. The staff are amazing and we thank you all for looking after us. The Caribbean restaurant is incredible! We are vegetarian and there were a few options but the food is clean and all plant based (a you opt for the veggie). I would give the restaurant 6 stars- it is however very pricey but you get what you pay for.
