Amazing place run by the loveliest family in Italy! Well equipped campsite and the bar and restaurant were lovely for breakfast and the obligatory nightly aperitivo. Will definitely be back some day!

What a sanctuary! I had such a wonderful time at La Gallinella. It’s a very peaceful place in a scenic location with views overlooking the sea. My tent was very comfortable and spacious, and I have probably never had such a stunning view from a bathroom window before. Giovanna and Andrea were incredibly kind and considerate hosts. I would recommend anyone to visit who seeks a bit if tranquility.

We have been going to La Gallinella for three years now. We love the place: the scenery and the surrounding area are very quiet, and the view from the main entrance is stunning. We have befriended the staff, who is always kind and accommodating. It is an immense pleasure to spend a few days here whenever possible.

Unbelievably stunning location on a hill slope overlooking the sea and a medieval castle. The host, Giovanna, is very warm and easy going, and will make you feel at home. She forgave us when we mistakenly used her kitchen to prepare some food thinking it was open to guests! We stayed in the most basic tent, which was basic but roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, Giovanna's cake was to die for!

“Paradise in Tuscany”

Oh this is just paradise. We stayed in the apartment, which was marvelous. We instantly felt at home because of the beautiful decoration of the interior, the views from the apartment and terrace and of course the super friendly staff. If you're lucky enough to be able to book this place, don't hesitate! And try the delicious botanical cocktails and aperitivo at the terrace :) The location is good as well: near the beach and near Castagnetto Carducci, but also near some very good restaurants in the surrounding area.
