“Truly fantastic.”

This is a really special place, situated in its own grounds on a quiet country road on the outskirts of Bavinchove. The setting is fantastic and the room (we were in the Garden Room) has a real 'Wow!' factor. Stunning. The Owners met us to show us round/give us keys and were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Excellent facilities in the room and a fabulous fresh breakfast wheeled in on a trolley in the morning at a time of our choosing. It was a wonderful stopover and we were sorry not to be staying for longer. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend/visit again.

Exceptional top class accomodation with owners passionate about providing the best experience. Eric and Sylvie are beyond delightful, helpful, hard working and friendly. Breakfast to die for beautifully presented and a lesson for so called top class hotels. We will return!!

Beautiful, roomy and cozy room in a beautiful historic building in the countryside, including a nice private terrace and a spacious garden. Excellent breakfast and lovely host who'll help you with all the things you need to know about the surrounding area, restaurants etc. Really a very pleasant short stay!

The peace and quiet of the location and the welcome by the hosts were excellent. Minor dislikes were the size of the bed (standard double) which slightly too small for us, and the absence of a night light at one side of the bed. The breakfast featured local produce and was typical of the region.

“Beautiful French home”

Manoir du Kasteelveld is trully beautiful, large french one bedroom annexe enjoying great views over a tranquil garden. Eric and Sylvie were wonderful hosts. Booking dinner for us in Cassel. Fabulous breakfast served in our room. Their home is very peaceful and quiet, but only a short drive to Cassel. Wish we had more time to stay.
