Romina and Ricardo were the perfect hosts and looked after us very well. We enjoyed the beekeeper tour and an on-site gong bath. The apartment was comfortable and decorated very tastefully. It was lovely to have samples of the olive oil and honey from the farm as welcome gifts. Stunningly beautiful location near the grog I’ll age of Casole d’Elsa.

“Lovely relaxing holiday location in a remote and beautiful part of Tuscany”

We were looking for a place to ‘get away from it all’ for a month and this was definitely remote! Although there were other guests upstairs we each had our own dedicated outside area and this was where we spent the majority of our time. Romina and Riccardo the hosts were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. During our month stay we had a few minor problems which were always attended to very promptly. They were also very helpful in giving us information about the area. We also liked the fact that we could do our own laundry with proper facilities for drying clothes - much easier than other places we’ve stayed and important when you’re there for an extended period.

If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing break to unwind and reset, this is for you. Myself and my husband just spent a lovely week here at this beautiful place. Romina & Ricardo were great hosts and shared so much information as to where to eat/visit locally and what they are producing on their wonderful farm. The apartment had everything we needed and has been renovated to a very high standard while keeping with a traditional Tuscany farmhouse feel. We loved it 👌

Agriturismo Alchimista is is in the middle of the heart of Tuscany, not far from Sienna and Volterra. You are 360 degrees surrounded by the landscape Tuscany is famous for: the slopes, the hills, but also woods and grapes and olives. It is an "utter Bliss!" An apricot tree, heavily loaded with ripe apricots at your disposal! It is an old place, but the guesthouse is brandnew, with a downstairs and upstairs place to rent. We rented the top place and that was what it was: top! A grand bedroom, two big chairs in a setting room and a kitchen with all the essentials, including a percolator, a golden bathroom. Two airco's for just in case, all windows 'insect sealed'. The hospitality was outstanding too: very friendly R&R explaining everything in te house, but also in the fields surrounding: late night visits of foxes, deer, etc. Agriturismo Alchimista grow herbs, like lavender and rosemary and distracts oil from these herbs. Sp pure! They sell these at a very fair prices, also olive oil and honey can be bought.

Beautiful nature! The host was wonderful, helpful, and available for all questions. We arrived late at night and wine was there, all directions to park, and clear pictures how to arrive. Great WiFi, clean flat and modern. Kitchen was newer and easy to cook. Nights and dawn we saw a lot of wildlife — Tuscan natural beauty with a perfect view of Casole d’Elsa with your morning coffee! Beautiful landscaping too and comfortable bed.

We have appreciated the customer oriented attitude of the owner regarding all the details and services at this place. This place is so special, calm, which special atmosphere which can not be overlooked. We were thankful for all the equipment which was very useful and also that many times per day there was a special spray natural against mosquitoes which helped a lot against them. We also have had an opportunity to have cooking class or to buy local olive oil and honey. The owners are very special people to us and we are thankful that we have had the opportunity to meet them in person in our lives.

“Unforgettable Tuscan experience”

Great location, away from the noise and crowds but still conveniently located near many charming Tuscan towns, this place is a true heaven for rest and relax. The apartment is spacious and clean, beautifully designed, combining traditional elements with modern amenities. The outside area is thoughtfully created with few separate places. It is surrounded by rolling hills, woods, vineyards and olive groves, it offers a beautiful panoramic view.

“Nice but could easily be much better”

Nice apartments, new and nicely furnished, very quiet location, far from everything. We booked a villa with 3 bedrooms, we had two separate apartments instead, which was equally nice.
